Chapter 6 The Spirit Spring Space is Good for Farming

"Alright, alright, you can fill the bags yourselves!"

With so many people, Chang Jing couldn't spare the time to serve them, so he had to let the older women pack their own food, line up to have it weighed, and pay.

After a while, the basket of tomatoes was almost empty.

"Boss, there aren't many tomatoes left. I'll take these. Weigh them all for me."

"Oh dear, how come they're all gone? I haven't bought any yet. My neighbor just gave me two tomatoes to try, and they were really delicious. Did you buy them from you?"

With business booming, Chang Jing scanned the tomatoes in his space with his divine sense and found he could fill another basket.

"Ladies, I still have some tomatoes. I'll go get some more in a bit. Please wait about ten minutes."

After selling the last few tomatoes in the basket, Chang Jing left a message and pushed his bicycle into the alley. He returned on his bicycle just five minutes later.

As soon as Chang Jing unloaded the baskets, people waiting to buy tomatoes were already there, each holding a bag and eyeing the market eagerly.

"Come on, boss, weigh it for me quickly. I need to get back so my grandson can have a taste."

While waiting, they weren't in a hurry, but once they bought the goods, they were eager to go back. Chang Jing also quickly cooperated by weighing and collecting money, and the basket of tomatoes was soon empty again, even the ones in the woven bags hanging on the front of the truck were sold out.

Business was so good that all the tomatoes in the space were sold out before noon, but very few peppers were sold; less than half of a woven bag of peppers was sold.

The dietary habits of Cantonese people meant that the chili peppers were often overstocked, which was to be expected, but no one expected that even a quarter of the chili peppers would be sold.

However, Chang Jing didn't dwell on it. He planned to spend the afternoon planting some new varieties of vegetables or fruits in his space. He had to make good use of the space; a business with no initial investment was perfect for him, given that he was currently penniless.
