Dormitories and canteens

These were divine eyes, like the mysterious and unpredictable starry sky, their light shining brightly. The moment their eyes met, Tsurumi Kawakami was stunned, feeling his soul float away, his whole being as dizzy as if he were drunk.

A casual glance from the gods can send shivers down one's spine, as if one's mind and spirit have been captured in that single look, and that everything about them has been seen through.

The black-haired, golden-eyed boy stared blankly at the person in front of him, his eyes unblinking, until those striking six eyes were once again hidden behind sunglasses before he came to his senses.

Tsurumi Kawakami blinked and sincerely complimented, "Your eyes are so beautiful! That's why you're called Six-Eyed."

Such sincere and straightforward words were rarely heard from others to Gojo Satoru, but the confident, strong, and somewhat arrogant Gojo Satoru's impression of Tsurumi Kawakami improved instantly.

He adjusted his sunglasses and put one hand in his pocket: "...How would I know why it's called Six Eyes? That's just what it's called."

The six eyes are a special eye inherited from the Gojo family. Because of its unique ability to see through curse power, coupled with the Gojo family's ancestral techniques which have no limits, anyone who possesses these two things is an extremely powerful individual.

However, Gojo Satoru never thought about why the Six-Eyed One was originally called Six-Eyed One, so he didn't know.

Tsurumi Kawakami gave a slightly disappointed "oh," then turned his gaze away from Gojo Satoru and looked at the open school gates: "Now that everyone's here, can we go in?"

To be fair, even though it's early spring, the sun is still quite strong today. And most importantly, Tsurumi Kawakami is short on cash and only ate a few rice balls for breakfast.

None of them objected to what Tsurumi Kawakami said.

So they each carried their own luggage and entered this school, which was nominally a religious temple school but was actually one of only two higher schools of sorcery in the world.

Upon entering, seeing the distinctly religious and antique-style buildings, Tsurumi Kawaru couldn't help but exclaim in a low voice. He turned his head and looked around, his eyes filled with curiosity.

But it wasn't long before he discovered the problem. The school covered a large area, and the surrounding area for miles was a high-level sorcery college.

When he arrived, Tsurumi Kawakami noticed that this place was sparsely populated. If it weren't for the location sent to him by the assistant director, he probably wouldn't have been able to find it.

The school, which should have been in session, was now deserted, not a soul in sight, and unusually quiet. This atmosphere, combined with the ancient and imposing architecture, felt somewhat strange and eerie.

"Is nobody here?"

Tsurumi Kawaru turned his head and looked around, his gaze sweeping over the teaching building not far away, but there was no sound from there.

A chill ran down his spine for no apparent reason, and he hurriedly looked away, turning his gaze to his future classmates.

Gojo Satoru didn't bring any luggage. He walked ahead with his hands in his pockets, and even with sunglasses on, you could tell he looked a little disgusted.

Hearing Tsurumi Kawakami's question, he raised an eyebrow, stopped in the middle of the road, and shouted: "Is—anyone—there—?"

Xia Youjie, standing under the shade of a tree with his bag in hand, frowned. He didn't get along with this colleague who had immediately commented on his bangs.

However, his eyes also looked around with a hint of curiosity.

Perhaps it was Gojo Satoru's shout that finally attracted the attention of the school staff. A moment later, a middle-aged man in a dark uniform with a fierce face appeared.

He was tall and burly, with a dark face that made him look intimidating. He glanced at them and asked, "Who was shouting just now?"

Night Moth Masamichi looked at the four freshmen in front of him and felt a bit of a headache.

Gojo Satoru waved his hand and said calmly, "It's me."

Tsurumi Kawa was quite happy to see people arrive, but he felt a little guilty after hearing the last sentence. Seeing that Gojo Satoru had admitted it directly, he looked up at him and took small steps to move next to Gojo Satoru.

Masamichi Yagami's brow twitched. He remembered that he had learned from a meeting in Kyoto that the next head of the Gojo family was going to Tokyo to study. Looking at the grinning Gojo Satoru in front of him, he felt exhausted about teaching for the next few years.

"...Don't shout at school next time," he said after a few seconds of silence.

After saying that, he looked at the others and said in a deep voice, "I am Yemo Zhengdao, and I am also your homeroom teacher. Now I will take you to the dormitory first."

The dormitory of Tokyo College is behind the teaching building. On the way, they also passed the cafeteria, but because there were few students, the cafeteria was not lively but rather very deserted.

"The second and third-year students have gone out on a mission. You will see them this afternoon..." Masamichi Noi told them about the school while leading them toward the dormitory building behind the cafeteria.

The boys' and girls' dormitories are not in the same building. Masamichi Yagami brought Shoko Ieiri to the girls' dormitory building, told her the floor number, and then led the remaining three boys towards the boys' dormitory building.

On the way, Masamichi Yagami learned about the identities of the others, but he didn't know much about Tsurumi Kawa, who had joined them halfway through the journey.

Seeing his black hair, golden eyes, and well-behaved appearance, my worries about the problem student eased considerably.

Leading them to the second floor of the dormitory, Masamichi Noi looked at them and said, "No one lives on the second floor yet. You can choose your own rooms. Classes will start at 1:30 PM in the teaching building."

After saying that, Moth Masakado hurriedly left.

Tsurumi Kawaru stood in the corridor, his gaze sweeping over the several rooms with open doors before turning to Natsuyuki and Gojo Satoru.

Gojo Satoru was initially somewhat interested in the accommodation, but after seeing the room's layout, he immediately lost interest and casually pointed to the second room on his right.

Xia Youjie glanced at him and chose the innermost room on the left.

After they finished making their selections, their gazes all fell on Tsurumi Kawakami, who had not yet made a choice.

Gojo Satoru adjusted his sunglasses, revealing azure eyes behind them, and stared directly at him, asking, "Hey, which side do you choose?"

Xia Youjie glanced at him, then took a step forward, blocking most of Gojo Satoru's figure. He was carrying his luggage and seemed to be heading towards his room.

Tsurumi looked around, somewhat hesitant. After a moment's hesitation, he pointed to the outermost room on the left, closest to the stairs: "This one."

Gojo Satoru narrowed his eyes, clicked his tongue, and went back to his room without saying anything.

Xia Youjie smiled at him in a friendly manner, then carried his things and walked towards his room.

After packing his things, Tsurumi Kawaru rubbed his stomach and decided to go to the cafeteria. As soon as he opened the door, he bumped into Natsuyu Jieye coming out of his room.

"Are you going to the cafeteria?" Tsurumi Nagare greeted him and then asked.

Xia Youjie paused for a moment and nodded.

Seeing this, Tsurumi Kawa was pleased, and the two went downstairs together to the cafeteria.

On the way, he suddenly remembered Gojo Satoru, so he stopped and looked back at the dormitory building with a hint of hesitation in his eyes.

Tsurumi Kawaru looked at Natsumi Yujie and whispered, "I forgot to ask Gojo Satoru. I wonder if he's coming."

Hearing his words, Xia Youjie's eyes flashed with surprise, then he found it somewhat amusing: "I think he probably wouldn't mind."

"Hmm, is that so?" The black-haired, golden-eyed boy scratched his cheek, looking somewhat troubled. "Then let's go."

They quickly put the matter out of their minds.

Upon arriving at the cafeteria, it was indeed as deserted as the school. However, Tsurumi Kawakami spotted Ieiri Shoko, and after exchanging greetings, they went to the window to get their food.

"Could you give me a little more? I have a big appetite and I can finish it."

Xia Youjie was about to leave with his tray when he heard what Tsurumi Kawaru said to the staff member in charge of serving food. He subconsciously turned around and saw that Tsurumi Kawaru was already holding a large bowl full of white rice.

Xia Youjie: ""

"Can you finish it?" He simply waited to the side and asked Tsurumi River as it came over.

Tsurumi Kawakami's expression was very calm. He nodded and then smiled apologetically at Xia Youjie: "I ate more."

This explanation made Xia Youjie glance at his plate. It was the normal amount of food for a boy his age, but it was still a lot compared to a girl's.

But when his gaze fell on Tsurumi Kawaru carrying a plate and the fact that the other person was half a head shorter than him, Xia Youjie couldn't help but pause.

There was no one else in the cafeteria besides them, so they all sat at one table. Ieiri Shoko was also a little surprised to see Tsurumi Kawaru's appetite, seemingly not expecting that someone who looked even thinner than Natsuyuki and Gojo Satoru would have such an unusual appetite.

Just as they were eating and chatting, someone suddenly walked in through the cafeteria entrance.

Gojo Satoru spotted the group of people sitting at a table and, remembering that they hadn't invited him to eat, he strode over, somewhat annoyed.

"Are you guys isolating me?" Gojo Satoru looked at them angrily, lingering on Tsurumi Kawaru's face for a few seconds. "That squinty-eyed guy is one thing, but you didn't even call me."

The person being criticized, Tsurumi Kawakami, paused for a moment, looked up from his plate, glanced blankly at Natsumi Yuuki, opened his mouth as if to say something, but saw Natsumi Yuuki put down his bowl and look at Gojo Satoru with a half-smile.

"Are you a three-year-old? Do you need someone to call you to eat on time?"

Gojo Satoru immediately bristled, glaring at him angrily, "What are you saying, you squinty-eyed idiot! Besides, I was talking to Ryu!"

Xia Youjie scoffed, crossed his arms, glanced at him, and made no attempt to hide his mockery.

Tsurumi Kawa looked at them somewhat helplessly, and finally turned his gaze to Ieiri Shoko across the street.

Seeing the veins bulging on the forehead of the usually composed and reliable girl, and witnessing the two arguing increasingly fiercely, Ieiri Shoko slammed her hand on the table, glaring at them angrily, and said: "If you want to argue, go outside! And you, Gojo, put your feet off the chair!"

The two who were arguing fell silent, glanced at each other, snorted, and each took a step back.

Gojo Satoru went to get a meal and sat down at the table with his tray.

Seeing that the two seemed to have calmed down, Tsurumi Kawa blinked, gave Ieiri Shoko a grateful look, and then quietly apologized to Gojo Satoru.

Gojo Satoru glanced at him, accepted the apology, then turned his gaze to the plate in front of him, raised an eyebrow but said nothing.

Although the meal was eaten quietly, the atmosphere was as tense as gunpowder.

Shoko Ieiri looked at them and said, "My technique is a reversal technique. If you get injured in the future, you can come to me."
