Song Qingyou was born with a beautiful bone structure, her appearance captivating and renowned throughout the capital. However, she had been sickly since childhood, like a precious porcelain doll, ...

Chapter 4 "Sister"

Song Qingyou suddenly woke up with a start, and as if still in shock, she reached out to turn on the desk lamp. Turning her head, she saw that incredibly handsome face and almost had a stroke.

She coughed violently, her face turning red, and she almost cried out the name through gritted teeth: "Fu Wenzhou!"

Fu Wenzhou silently got out of bed and poured her a glass of hot water: "It has pear syrup in it, to soothe your throat."

Song Qingyou stared at the man for a few seconds before finally taking the cup. After drinking it, her throat felt much better.

Seeing that she had finished drinking, Fu Wenzhou naturally took the empty glass, went to the kitchen to wash it, and then returned.

Song Qingyou frowned slightly: "How did you know I was here?"

Fu Wenzhou pulled up a chair and sat down in front of her: "The Fu family couldn't find you, so they came here."

Song Qingyou took a deep breath: "I changed the password."

"All you can use is the number combination of Zhouzhou's birthday." Fu Wenzhou placed his hands on either side of her, pressing very close, the veins on his arms slightly bulging, and a carefree smile appeared on his lips: "Even if you change it a hundred times, I can still guess it."

"Stay away from me." Song Qingyou raised her hand to block his extremely imposing chest, her eyes reddened from coughing, making one feel inexplicably pity her.

Fu Wenzhou stared intently into her eyes. His pupils were dark, and when he focused on someone, they appeared very deep and enigmatic, as if they could draw you in.

“Youyou…”

Song Qingyou frowned. At this time, she could only resort to seniority, as if it were a warning or a reminder: "Fu Wenzhou, I am your aunt."

Fu Wenzhou's eyes surged with emotion for a moment, then calmed down, a slight smile playing on his lips: "So what? It's me holding you, it's me kissing you, it's me who wants to do what you want..."

"Shut up!" Song Qingyou couldn't stand his nonsense anymore, feeling both ashamed and angry: "If it weren't for your unreasonable behavior, barging in and kissing me every night while I was asleep, do you think I would..."

"What did I think you were like?" Fu Wenzhou moved closer to her, their breaths mingling. "Youyou, don't always use your seniority to pressure me. Didn't you say that I'm a mad dog, and I'm capable of anything if pushed to the limit?"

Song Qingyou's head was throbbing with pain. She had always been aloof and rarely showed any emotional fluctuations. Only Fu Wenzhou could easily sway her emotions, yet she was helpless against this mad dog.

Song Qingyou has divorced Fu Tingshen and now only wants to stay away from the Fu family, especially Fu Wenzhou.

Three years ago, upon learning that the Song and Fu families were about to be united by marriage, Fu Wenzhou rushed back from abroad overnight and ran to her in the rain, begging her not to marry Fu Tingshen and asking her to wait for him.

At that time, Song Qingyou was confused. She had never seen this person before, so she politely asked Uncle Chang to pull him out of the rain, handed him an umbrella, and then turned and left.

It wasn't until much later that Song Qingyou learned that Fu Wenzhou had stayed at the Song family's house for a period of time. Young Fu Wenzhou was withdrawn, taciturn, and extremely unsociable. At a banquet, Fu Wenzhou was bullied, and it was Song Qingyou who came to his rescue. Afterwards, Fu Wenzhou always followed Song Qingyou around, knowing she was often sick, he would try all sorts of ways to cheer her up, take care of her, and do everything he could to prevent her from getting sick and suffering.

Fu Wenzhou cried a lot on the day he left, and insisted that Song Qingyou promise that she would wait for him to grow up and marry her.

Song Qingyou agreed.

Only Fu Wenzhou took the promise he made when he was young and naive to heart.

Song Qingyou sighed, somewhat puzzled as to why the adorable puppy she had been as a child had grown into a mad dog that wanted nothing more than to devour her.

She reached out and placed her hand on Fu Wenzhou's arm, wanting to push him away and have a proper talk with him. Before she could even exert any force, Fu Wenzhou moved and buried his head in her shoulder, letting out a muffled sound: "Sister."

Song Qingyou's fingers, which were originally meant to push the person away, went slightly numb.

This was how Fu Wenzhou tried to please her when they were children.

Song Qingyou was momentarily lost in thought, and Fu Wenzhou took the opportunity to turn his head and bite her delicate neck, withdrawing to a safe distance before Song Qingyou could push him away.

"Are you a dog?" Song Qingyou covered her neck, her face showing little emotion, clearly having grown accustomed to such sneak attacks over the past three years.

A hint of pleasure rose in Fu Wenzhou's eyes, so subtle it was almost imperceptible.

Song Qingyou frowned as she looked at him, wondering why her scolding had made him happy.

She pursed her lips: "Go back the way you came."

Fu Wenzhou got a great deal this time and was happily kicked out of the room.

The next morning, Song Qingyou had a rare good night's sleep. After washing up, she went out to feed the cat, only to find that Zhouzhou had been taken away. The owner had left a note, the handwriting as arrogant and frivolous as the owner's.

I brought Zhouzhou home. Come to my house whenever you want to see her.

Song Qingyou: ...

Zhouzhou was originally picked up by Fu Wenzhou. After raising her for a while, he sent her to live with him. Occasionally, when he was in a good mood, he would take her back to raise for a while.

Over time, feelings develop. Whenever Song Qingyou misses Zhouzhou, she asks Uncle Chang to take her to Fu Wenzhou's house, thinking she can just sneak a peek and then go home. But every time she goes, Fu Wenzhou is standing at the door with the cat, greeting her with a smile.

The cat belongs to someone else, so she has no reason to take it back and can only sulk.

Song Qingyou crumpled the note into a ball and gave its owner a four-word evaluation: "Cunning and scheming."

She glanced at the breakfast prepared on the table: fish porridge and a bowl of stewed pears.

Song Qingyou paused for a moment, then swiped her slender white fingertips across her phone screen and opened Fu Wenzhou's WeChat profile. His profile picture was of a girl in a white dress standing under a tree, sheltering from the rain. It was blurry and difficult for others to recognize.

Only Song Qingyou knew that the figure in the profile picture was herself at eighteen years old.

She had no idea when Fu Wenzhou took the photo, and every time she asked him to change it, he wouldn't. Eventually, she gave up on investigating.
