Song Qingyou was born with a beautiful bone structure, her appearance captivating and renowned throughout the capital. However, she had been sickly since childhood, like a precious porcelain doll, ...
Bai Li stood at the door. He was a soldier who had experienced the trials of military life, but the man in front of him had an even stronger aura.
Even though there was a little distance between them, the sense of oppression was still immense.
Bai Li didn't like this feeling and frowned slightly: "I'm looking for Song Qingyou."
Fu Wenzhou's voice was deep and cold, and his eyes narrowed: "Didn't I tell you she moved? Are you deaf or not?"
Bai Li frowned even more deeply, his tone devoid of warmth: "We met yesterday, and she said she hadn't moved."
Upon hearing "It's your Brother Li," Song Qingyou had already put on her shoes and stood up. She walked to Fu Wenzhou's side, pulled him aside, and asked, "Brother Li, what brings you here?"
Bai Li glanced coldly at Fu Wenzhou, then looked past him, his eyes softening considerably: "A friend gave me a lot of jujubes. Don't you love them? I'll bring you two boxes."
Song Qingyou then noticed the two boxes behind him. "Thank you, Brother Li..."
"Hmph." Fu Wenzhou sneered, interrupting their conversation, his gaze cold and indifferent: "She only eats winter dates from Linhai, and they have to be freshly picked. The ones you have that have been refrigerated taste bad and aren't sweet. Eating them will only make her stomach upset. Bai Li, you should do your homework before giving gifts to people."
Bai Li was taken aback, pursed his lips and looked at Song Qingyou with apology in his eyes: "I didn't know that eating these would make your stomach uncomfortable. I'll take these back."
Song Qingyou felt a little embarrassed, as she could only eat freshly picked fruit.
But it was, after all, someone else's good intention.
"Don't listen to him, I'm not that delicate." Song Qingyou coughed lightly, "It's too cold outside, come in and sit down."
Bai Li's palm tightened slightly. "I'm going to my dad's place later, so I won't go in. As for the dates... I'll take them with me."
He picked up two boxes of winter dates and said in a deep voice, "Next time I'll bring you dates from Linhai."
After saying that, he turned and left without waiting for Song Qingyou to speak.
Song Qingyou was stunned for a moment, then turned around and asked, "Fu Wenzhou, did you eat a bullet?"
She was genuinely curious.
Fu Wenzhou, like a wolf cub hiding its fangs, squinted at her and gave her a forced smile: "The dates from Linhai are only good before last month, so he won't be able to bring you any next time."
Song Qingyou slowly raised her eyes and suddenly asked him, "Where were you last night?"
Fu Wenzhou's eyes darkened, his Adam's apple bobbed, and he turned and walked inside: "At home."
"At home?" Song Qingyou lifted her eyelids slightly: "Then how did you know his name was Bai Li?"
Her voice was flat and her tone was calm: "You've been following me."
Fu Wenzhou paused, his profile sharp and defined, a hint of melancholy in his eyes. After turning around, the wolf cub became obedient again, "Sister, I just wanted to pick you up."
Song Qingyou glanced at him dismissively. "I went with Song Chang, why are you picking me up? Fu Wenzhou, could your excuses be any more clumsy?"
Fu Wenzhou lowered his eyebrows, his emotions surging violently in his eyes, yet he seemed to be deliberately suppressing something, and the veins on the back of his hands, with their distinct knuckles, bulged slightly.
After a long pause, he chuckled and said, "Are you questioning me because of my bad attitude towards Bai Li?"
Song Qingyou frowned slightly. What does this have to do with anything?
How did she get involved with Bai Li again?
Her expression turned cold: "Fu Wenzhou, can you stop focusing on other people? I'm asking why you're following me, why are you bringing Bai Li into this?"
"You didn't get home until 11 p.m. last night." The puppy's voice was deep and almost dripping with water, and there was a hint of grievance in his tone: "I've been waiting for you. If I don't see you, do I not even have the right to go to my wife?"
Song Qingyou was taken aback by his words "I've been waiting for you," and for a moment she didn't even notice that he had mentioned the word "wife" in his words.
She pursed her lips and explained softly, "I finished eating after nine o'clock, and with some traffic on the way, it's normal to get home at 11 o'clock."
Fu Wenzhou's eyes were as dark as ink. "You are not allowed to call him brother anymore."
Song Qingyou took a couple of seconds to realize who he was talking about, and said with some amusement, "Fu Wenzhou, I've called him Brother Li since I was little. It's just a name. Why are you so jealous of that?"
No wonder he kept calling her "brother" last night, so that's why...
Fu Wenzhou snorted coldly, squeezing out each word through gritted teeth: "I! Want! To! Eat!"
Song Qingyou: "..."
She muttered under her breath, "Childish."
Fu Wenzhou immediately clung to her, lifting her up in his arms, at which point his lips were pressed against her collarbone.
Fu Wenzhou bit her fair collarbone as if punishing her, his voice hoarse and deep, filled with possessiveness: "Sister, no one loves you more than me, so you can only choose me."
Song Qingyou pinched his earlobe with her fingertips and suddenly said, "Fu Wenzhou, get your ears pierced."
Fu Wenzhou grasped her wrist and kissed it: "Okay."
At night, Fu Wenzhou sat in a chair, while Song Qingyou sat on his lap, holding a nail gun, and helped him pierce his ears.
"Does it hurt?" Song Qingyou asked softly.
Fu Wenzhou chuckled softly: "It hurts, so can Youyou kiss me?"
He still had the mind to joke, so Song Qingyou knew he wasn't in pain anymore. She put the nail gun on the table and took out an earring from the drawer.
The earrings have a very special design; they are a deep blue square diamond that sparkles under the light, resembling the color of the deep sea.
Song Qingyou carefully put it on him: "This is my mother's keepsake, and the only thing she gave me."
Fu Wenzhou's Adam's apple bobbed, and he asked in a hoarse voice, "Why did you suddenly decide to get my ears pierced?"
