[Sunshine and Cheerful Kindergarten Staff Code of Conduct]
Thank you very much for choosing to become a staff member of our kindergarten and to work with us as excellent educators to nurture the flowers of our motherland. In order to better fulfill your responsibilities as a teacher, please remember the following rules, adhere to the professional ethics of a kindergarten teacher, and bring warmth to the children while also teaching them the principles of being a good person.
[Daily Life]
This is a long-term childcare kindergarten. Parents only visit their children on Sundays, so staff members are responsible for caring for and interacting with the children most of the time.
[1. Your task is to wake the children early every morning, take them to breakfast, then begin the morning classes; take them to lunch, supervise their naps, then begin the afternoon classes; take them to dinner in the evening, then give them free time; and finally, supervise them to bed.]
2. Every morning, you need to check if your children are carrying any dangerous items.
If your child carries dangerous items, you need to remove them immediately to prevent them from accidentally injuring other children.
3. If your child shows any signs of discomfort while at the kindergarten, such as a cold or fever, they should be taken to the medical room on the first floor of the teaching building immediately.
4. If a child wants to give you any food, you should accept it with both hands and express your sincere gratitude, but do not eat it.
Teachers should not accept bribes, but they shouldn't refuse children's kindness to avoid discouraging them. Therefore, food offered by teachers is acceptable, but they should not be consumed.
5. You need to always be polite to your child and pay attention to using polite language.
If a child uses foul language, you need to correct them promptly to prevent them from setting a bad example for other children. If the child continues to use foul language and refuses to accept the teacher's guidance, please take them directly to the meditation room so they can reflect on their behavior.
6. You need to check the number of children every day and keep records of morning, noon and evening health checks.
If a child goes missing, please search for them immediately. If a child has been missing for more than 12 hours, you only need to report it to the head of student affairs; after that, you do not need to concern yourself with the matter further.
7. You need to smile at the children every day.
8. Don't let your children have access to your phone; it can harm their still-developing eyes.
9. Do not cause any physical harm to children. An adult's strength can easily injure a vulnerable child. Please be gentle when making physical contact with them.
10. When Sunday arrives, the head of teaching affairs will notify the staff of each class to hold a class meeting. At this time, the children's parents will come to visit their children and interact with them.
During this time, you need to leave the classroom to give the children and their parents some private space.
[Educational Activities]
Kindergarten children are young and have short attention spans, so class periods should not be too long. It's important to consider their physical and psychological development during class and gradually cultivate their habit of focusing on learning for extended periods.
1. Class hours at this kindergarten are 9:00-11:00 AM and 2:30-4:30 PM. Each class should not exceed 20 minutes.
Before each class, you need to ring the tambourine to remind all the children to return to their seats, and lead them in clapping three times and saying "Class begins!" before officially starting the lesson. Do the same at the end of class, leading the children in saying "Class dismissed!"
2. Your class will have your name written on the door. Please be on time for class and do not go to the wrong class.
You need to strictly adhere to the class schedule, refrain from using mobile phones during class, and constantly monitor the children's movements.
3. Each class will have two teachers supervising them. No matter what happens, please ensure that at least one teacher is always available to accompany and care for the children.
If both teachers leave at the same time, the children could easily get into serious trouble due to roughhousing.
4. Education requires individualized instruction. When teaching children, you also need to consider their individual differences. Some children react quickly, while others react slowly. You need to try your best to give every child the opportunity to practice.
5. As a guide for children, you need to help them solve their problems.
When children encounter difficulties and come to you for help, no matter what you are doing, you should stop what you are doing and give them a reasonable answer.
6. You need to have enough patience and love for children. You should not hit or scold young children, but cherish them. For example, when talking to children, you should squat down to face them and communicate with a smile.
7. When children do the right thing, you should praise and affirm them happily. Conversely, if they do the wrong thing, you need to correct them promptly, but do not criticize them harshly.
8. Your course selection should be age-appropriate; avoid courses that exceed a child's cognitive abilities.
[Dining Section]
[Kindergarten children are at a crucial stage of physical development, so ensuring they eat obediently and safely, and cultivate good eating habits, is extremely important.]
【1. The meal times at this kindergarten are 8:00-8:30 in the morning, 11:30-12:00 at noon, 16:30-17:00 in the afternoon, and 18:30-19:00 in the evening. Please take your child to the cafeteria in advance. The cafeteria door will open half an hour in advance.
