Chapter 167 The Silent Manor 9

Mrs. Chen looked at the broken pieces of meat in her hand, and finally collapsed, exhausted.

Shen Yuan stepped forward to check and confirmed that both of them were dead before looking at his uncle.

"Uncle, what else do you want? You can take anything you want except this manor."

Shen Yuan's words silenced his uncle for a moment.

"I want your mother's urn."

"The Chen family is not worthy of letting your mother live here."

After Uncle Shenyuan finished speaking, he looked at his nephew.

"May I?"

His eyes were full of pleading and caution.

“I think your mother probably wants to go home.”

Shen Yuan nodded without hesitation, "Okay."

He got up and led everyone toward the cellar.

Uncle Shenyuan's brows furrowed deeper as he walked. "Why is your mother's urn in the cellar?"

Shen Yuan didn't speak, but reached out and pushed open the cellar door.

A gust of wind blew into the cellar, and the candlelight flickered twice.

In that instant, Bai Sang seemed to hear a soft chanting.

Who is singing?

She spoke softly.

The moment she finished speaking, Mo Yuan stood beside her.

Shen Yuan, however, smiled.

"It's my mother."

“Every time I come, she sings to keep me company.”

Uncle Shen Yuan listened quietly for a while, then his expression suddenly changed.

"Not your mother."

"Your mother is tone-deaf and can never sing."

As soon as Uncle Shenyuan finished speaking, the soft humming immediately turned into bursts of cold laughter.

"We've been discovered."

"Hehehehe, we've been found out."

"Kids are so easy to fool; they haven't noticed anything wrong with me all this time."

Shen Yuan's previously calm face was instantly clouded with gloom.

"Who are you, and why are you pretending to be my mother?"

He looked around warily, his eyes blazing with barely suppressed anger.

"Hehehe, we're your dad's wives, so it's also true that you're his mom."

"You're so heartless. I've been with you for so many years, and you just turn your back on me like that."

"Just like your father, just like your father."

The veins on Shen Yuan's forehead bulged.

Where is my mother?

Bai Sang walked to Shen Yuan's side, looked at him with some concern, and then at Mo Yuan.

Mo Yuan shook his head. "Don't be impulsive."

Shen Yuan sneered, "If it were you, would you be impulsive?"

Mo Yuan seemed to think about it very seriously before speaking.

“I dug up their graves and scattered their ashes.”

Bai Sang was so angry that she slapped Mo Yuan, "Is this advice? You're just adding fuel to the fire!"

Shen Yuan's expression suddenly calmed down.

"You're right, I shouldn't have acted impulsively."

“Tell me where my mother is, and I promise I won’t dig up your grave.”

Four illusory figures suddenly appeared in the air.

"Your mother is downstairs."

"Hehehe, she's so pitiful, she's been kept in the house for eight years."

"Thank goodness your father is dead, thank goodness your father is dead."

"Otherwise, she'll be finished."

Shen Yuan was filled with panic, but there was no lower level in the cellar.

Uncle Shenyuan walked to a corner, lifted up countless pieces of old furniture, and finally revealed a hidden door.

“Your mother brought me here secretly.”

"However, only the blood of the Chen family can awaken this door, so I know where the door is, but I have never gone down there."

Without hesitation, Shen Yuan raised his hand, and a few drops of black blood appeared in mid-air.

The four figures were instantly terrified and scattered in all directions.

"That's scary, that's scary!"

"This aura is going to tear me apart, it's terrifying."

"Help! Help!"

The chattering sounds also disappeared instantly.

The black blood droplets landed precisely on the mark drawn on the door.

In an instant, red light burst forth.

The door opened.

Shen Yuan immediately went inside.

Mo Yuan stopped Bai Sang.

"Exchange points for gas masks; you can't withstand the toxic fumes inside."

As soon as he finished speaking, Shen Yuan raised his hand and gathered all the poisonous gas into a ball.

"It's alright, come in."

Mo Yuan shrugged helplessly. "Let's go."

The second floor of the cellar contained no bones, no corpses, and no malevolent energy.

In the very center, a stone pillar stands, with the groove in the middle empty.

Shen Yuan looked at the empty space and remained silent.

Uncle Shenyuan looked around inside but found nothing.

"They lied to me."

Shen Yuan finally spoke, but his words were laced with gritted teeth.

Bai Sang walked a few steps inside and looked at the empty groove in the middle for a while.

"Shen Yuan, is that stone you left here?"

Hearing Bai Sang's voice, Shen Yuan finally came to his senses.

He stepped forward, glanced at the groove, took out a stone, and gently placed it in.

"Click".

The soft sound was particularly noticeable in the quiet cellar.

"Kalalalala".

Something seems to be rising.

Bai Sang returned to Mo Yuan's side, and Mo Yuan smiled with satisfaction. He raised his hand again, wanting to put his arm around Bai Sang's waist.

Bai Sang pushed him away expressionlessly.

Just as she was about to speak, she saw a stone coffin rise out of thin air from the empty ground.

"Shen Yuan, this is..."

"This is my mother's coffin."

Shen Yuan's voice was both excited and sorrowful.

He strode forward, stood before the stone coffin for a while, and then raised his hand.

The lid was opened, and a young and beautiful woman lay in the coffin as if she were fast asleep.
