Chapter 179 Nanling Prison 10

In response, Bai Sang said, "Who wouldn't love to eat melons like this?"

When Ji Chun was brought to the interrogation room, she remained calm.

Do you know why I called you here?

Bai Sang tapped the table and spoke.

Ji Chun looked up, her expression serious.

"Warden, I don't know."

Bai Sang glanced at Ji Chun's statement and gestured for her to sit down.

She stood up and walked to Ji Chun's side.

"You said the deceased's son and you were once lovers. What was your reason for marrying his father?"

Ji Chun pursed her lips, her face tense.

“I told you, his father is more charming than him.”

Bai Sang slapped the photo of the father and son onto the table in front of her.

After a cold laugh, Bai Sang pointed at the photos on the table.

"You're telling me the father is more charming than the other man?"

The tall, strong, handsome young man exuding youthful energy contrasted sharply with the slightly hunched old man with gray hair and wrinkles and age spots on his face.

"I just like older people, so what? Is that a problem?"

Ji Chun's face remained calm as ever.

"No, no, no, this is your freedom."

“But now everyone outside is saying that you conspired with the deceased’s son to kill him.”

"And now..."

The little green fox suddenly came in from outside.

“Warden, I heard that the deceased’s son is going to turn himself in tomorrow. He left a note for the police saying not to look for him today.”

Bai Sang nodded. "I understand."

After the little green fox left, Ji Chun's face turned pale, and her fingers gripped the armrest of the chair tightly.

"He can't turn himself in. I did it; it has nothing to do with him!"

Bai Sang bent down slightly and looked into her eyes.

Are you sure?

Ji Chun's tears fell in large drops. "I'm sure. He's such a good person, how could he hurt his own father?"

Even if his father is a scumbag...

Bai Sang seemed to have guessed something.

“I know where he is. Go and persuade him. One person can take the blame.”

Ji Chun gripped the hem of her clothes tightly, and after a moment, nodded, "Okay."

Bai Sang breathed a sigh of relief.

"Xiao Lü, take her to see that person."

Bai Sang's vague words confirmed Ji Chun's guess.

The big boy arrived, and he arrived in a way that couldn't be revealed.

She went out with the little green fox.

Gu Yuan's figure disappeared along with them.

[Sister Sang, I'm going to betray you for a bit, I need to go eat some melon seeds.]

Wait for me, let's go together.

Don't worry, Sister Sang, I'll be back after I finish eating the melon.

"Honey, don't worry, I'm not leaving. I've asked my boyfriend to go check."

[You have a boyfriend and you're trying to steal my wife? Get lost!]

Bai Sang was unaware that her live stream had temporarily lost a large number of viewers because of her gossiping.

If she knew, she would only sigh and say that everyone is a good young person who loves to gossip.

Bai Sang got up and went outside to patrol.

So far, all the female prisoners seem to be behaving well, and no one is causing trouble.

However, as he passed by a certain cell, Bai Sang glanced at the window, took a few steps, and then suddenly turned back.

She stood by the window and stared intently at it.

Amidst a gray and white striped quilt, a patch of small pink flowers appeared.

She simply took out her keys, opened the door, and went inside.

Whose is this?

All six female prisoners turned to look at Bai Sang.

They opened their mouths together, their dark mouths opening and closing, but without making a sound.

"I'm asking you, whose is this?"

“If no one acknowledges it, I'll just take it.”

Bai Sang stepped forward, wanting to put the pink bed sheet away.

However, twelve hands pressed down on the bed sheet together.

They squatted down and looked up at Bai Sang.

The opening and closing of the mouth resembled six enormous black holes, causing Bai Sang to feel dizzy.

What's going on?

She pinched herself hard, then held the jade pendant in one hand.

A refreshing sensation rushed straight to my head.

Bai Sang closed her eyes for a second, then quickly opened them.

However, at that moment, a baby appeared on the pink floral bed sheet in front of them.

The baby must be a girl; her fair skin and long eyelashes made her look like a sleeping doll.

Who is this?

The props she wears help her stay conscious.

In other words, this baby is very likely real.

A bed sheet that is completely empty is the fake one.

"Warden."

A female prisoner spoke in a hoarse voice.

"No, don't kill her."

"Her mother is already, already dead."

Bai Sang looked at the sleeping child in front of her and spoke softly.

Tell me in detail.

"I can't tell the child's father."

Bai Sang paused for a moment, then continued listening.

"Her mother was taken away shortly after giving birth to her and never came back. She was very well-behaved, never cried or made a fuss, and never bothered anyone."

The female prisoner's voice grew softer and hoarser as she spoke.

Bai Sang quickly raised his question.

Why can't you speak?

All six people were in the same situation, and Bai Sang didn't believe it was a coincidence.

"Someone wants us to shut up."

After those words were spoken, Bai Sang could no longer hear any of their voices.

Bai Sang glanced at the child who was still fast asleep.

“I’ll get her a brand new set of bedding; this is too conspicuous, it’s not good.”
