Chapter 191 Master, Don't Run Away 4

"Sister Bai, is this a wedding or a funeral?"

Did people in ancient times use this kind of wedding ceremony?

The little green fox moved closer to Bai Sang.

"Don't panic."

Bai Sang offered a word of comfort to the little green fox.

Gu Yuan stepped forward and said, "I'll go take a look. Generally speaking, this kind of wedding isn't a proper ceremony."

The little green fox was even more frightened. "What do you mean by 'not a proper marriage'?"

Gu Yuan looked at Bai Sang, his smile suddenly becoming affectionate and tender.

Chi Yuan also revealed a sweet, affectionate smile.

"For example, ghost marriage."

The little green fox was stunned.

"A ghost marriage between the living and the dead?"

Is this really reasonable?

Gu Yuan and Chi Yuan were instantly stunned.

"Isn't this unreasonable?"

The little green fox wanted to say something more, but Bai Sang interrupted her.

"It depends on the situation. Our situation is pretty normal."

Little Green Fox: ? ? ?

What about us?

Sister Bai and who are we?

Her doubts didn't last long.

An old man slowly walked towards us.

"Gentlemen, our village is having a celebration tonight, would you like to come and join in the fun?"

Bai Sang looked at the old man in front of her and smiled gently, "Okay."

"Little Green, let's go take a look and join in the fun."

Seeing Bai Sang's expression, the little green fox felt that she must have discovered something.

As the little green fox entered the village, it shivered at the way the villagers were looking at it.

Their eyes didn't show welcome or happiness.

Instead, they were drooling.

They looked at them as if they were looking at a plate of cooked food.

"I feel like they want to eat us."

The little green fox's voice trembled slightly.

Bai Sang nodded. "Yes."

She smelled a foul odor on the old man.

It was the smell of cooked human flesh that I had smelled before.

There was also a comment from Gu Yuan on the side.

He found what he wanted in there.

So she had to come to this village.

"Sit down, sit down."

The old man led them to an empty table and then left.

Bai Sang sat in the chair, looking at the red peanuts on the plate.

The strong smell of blood made Bai Sang feel nauseous.

Don't eat it.

She pressed down on the little green fox's outstretched hand.

The little green fox nodded, "I don't want to eat it, I want to take that."

She pointed to a glowing stone on the table.

"Don't take it either."

Chi Yuan watched for a while, then continued to try to stop them.

"If you touch it, your hands will rot."

"The resentment here is something an ordinary person like you can't bear."

Gu Yuan and Chi Yuan looked at each other for a moment, then Chi Yuan reached out and took the stone in his own hand.

The stone quickly dimmed.

Chi Yuan pouted, "That's all?"

Bai Sang, however, looked at the dozen or so tables in front of her.

"There are still over ten dollars left, I'll find a chance to get them all for you."

As they were talking, the bride and groom entered.

The villagers started clapping, their faces beaming with happy smiles.

The bride and groom walked stiffly, each supported by two people behind them.

As they walked past Bai Sang and the others, Bai Sang even smelled a strong stench of decay.

"How long has this been buried?"

Bai Sang complained softly.

The little green fox didn't say anything.

Suddenly, her cold hand grabbed Bai Sang's arm.

"Sister Bai, look under the bride's dress, isn't there a head peeking out?"

Holy crap, there really is a leader.

What is this, a horror movie?

[I was so scared I dropped my bowl! I really thought it was a wedding banquet and was thinking of having some to eat.]

Why is that head blinking? What is it anyway?

Bai Sang stared intently at the head hanging beneath the bride's dress and frowned.

"Something's not right. That head still looks alive."

Gu Yuan sneered, "The bride was pregnant before she died, and the child became a ghost."

"Be careful later, the child might make a scene if he finds out that his mother was forced into marriage."

Upon hearing this, Bai Sang instinctively gripped the sword at his waist.

A handful of talismans appeared in the little green fox's hand.

As expected, an unexpected event occurred during the wedding ceremony.

However, it wasn't the bride who started the commotion, but the groom.

The groom couldn't bend down no matter what he tried.

The villagers' smiles froze on their faces.

The old man standing on the stage looked at the groom, then at the bride, and suddenly turned pale with fright.

"The bride was pregnant before she died, and the groom was unwilling to go through with the wedding ceremony."

"So now we need to change the bride."

As soon as the words "change the bride" were uttered, the groom suddenly turned around and faced Bai Sang's table.

Bai Sang and the little green fox exchanged a glance, knowing that this was coming for them.

"The bride chosen by the groom is inside."

The old man nimbly jumped off the stage and ran to Bai Sang's side.

Is this it?

Gu Yuan and Chi Yuan's expressions instantly turned ugly.

Bai Sang sneered and looked at the groom with his empty eyes.

The groom nodded his head up and down, indicating his agreement.

Bai Sang, however, had a handsome man in each of her hands.

"I'm sorry, I already have a fiancé."

The old man's expression changed.

“Any bride we fancy in our village has to marry into the family, regardless of whether she’s engaged or married.”

The little green fox silently stood in front of Bai Sang.
