Rules of Horror + Seven Golden Fingers + Sliced Male Lead.
The Rules of Horror descended, and Bai Sang inexplicably got engaged to seven supernatural husbands, possessing a huge dowry.
...
Without hesitation, Bai Sang tossed the base chief's work ID over.
The director of the experimental base in City B has been replaced.
[Congratulations on achieving an S-rank clear! You have half an hour left to leave the mystery. 30 minutes remaining.]
Bai Sang was a little stunned when she heard the system notification.
The first time she encountered this character, she was allowed to linger in the ghost stories even after completing the mission.
He ate meat but not garlic and quickly stepped forward.
"Boss, we forgot about Boss Qiao's stuff."
Bai Sang slapped his forehead.
I forgot, I forgot.
"Um, Wan Haiyang."
Bai Sang looked at Number 3, who was coaxing his younger sister to sleep, and called out to Wan Haiyang.
"I need a lab notebook, and I need it within half an hour."
Wan Haiyang looked troubled.
"I wonder what the lab notes look like."
Bai Sang suddenly remembered something, took out her phone, and opened the picture.
"Like this."
Wan Haiyang looked at it and indicated that he understood.
"These kinds of experimental notes are only available to the base commander. I'll go directly to the base commander's office to find them for you."
Bai Sang thought for a moment and said she could go with him.
“I’ll go too.”
“My sister is just an ordinary child now, and I hope she can live in a normal environment.”
He handed his younger sister to Bai Sang to hold, while he carried his mother's body on his back.
"Let's go."
It was ten minutes later when we arrived at the base commander's office.
"Find whatever you like."
Number 3 placed his younger sister in the brand-new crib and gestured for Bai Sang to roll around as she pleased.
The person who eats meat but not garlic immediately noticed the lab notes on the desk.
"Boss, I'm here."
Bai Sang immediately took a picture and sent it to Qiao Xiran.
Youyouyoumu: "Is this it?"
Qiao Xiran replied almost instantly.
Qiao Xiran: "Can I turn to the first page and take a look?"
Youyouyoumu: "Picture"
The experimental notes that were opened were not written in strange language, but in English.
Bai Sang could barely make out the words "he," "and," and "was."
She couldn't help but give herself a thumbs up.
Great, you haven't returned everything to the teacher yet.
Qiao Xiran's message arrived three minutes later.
Qiao Xiran: "This is it. Thank you for your hard work. Be careful on your way back."
Bai Sang glanced at the information and casually tossed the experiment notes into his inventory.
"Number 3, we're leaving soon, so the rest of the task is in your hands."
Number 3 looked at Bai Sang and bowed deeply.
"Thanks."
Bai Sang gestured for everyone to leave, while he stood at the back.
"Number 3, your mother said that your hands must be clean."
"But I'd like to offer you a piece of advice."
"Sometimes, reform requires swift and decisive action. Without bloodshed and sacrifice, reform might collapse halfway through."
Number 3 looked at Bai Sang and suddenly spoke.
"Are you taking all of them with you?"
He smiled, but his expression was not as honest and simple as usual.
"An excellent experimental subject, a beautiful life assistant, a strong security captain, and you with outstanding professional skills."
"I'm actually a little reluctant to part with it."
Bai Sang looked into his eyes and met his gaze without flinching.
“Then I wouldn’t mind taking back my work permit and letting the base have a new leader.”
"I think Wan Haiyang is quite good."
Number 3 turned to look at Wan Haiyang.
Seeing Wan Haiyang's terrified expression, he smiled.
"I'm just kidding. If I had to pick the person I trust most in the base, it would be Haiyang."
Number 3 shrugged. "I know you have more important things to do. I can't repay you right now. I hope we can meet again in the future."
Bai Sang smiled, glanced at the time, and waved to Number 3.
The moment Bai Sang stepped out of Number 3's sight, the scene before her changed.
The man who eats meat but not garlic glanced at the helipad and took out the helicopter.
"Little Green, have you packed everything?"
The little green fox patted its barren chest.
"Don't worry, I've counted them. There were a total of one thousand, and I took nine hundred."
"Didn't Sister Xiaofu say she needed 500 tubes? I think taking more might make it more effective."
Bai Sang looked at her gratefully.
"Little Green, thank you."
"Get ready, let's go back the way we came, lest we get dragged into the ghost stories again."
Everyone boarded the plane immediately.
The roar of airplane engines could be heard.
Bai Sang looked down at the base through the window.
Number 12 should be able to leave at Grade B.
With Wan Haiyang and the free-spirited No. 3 around, it will be very difficult for her to pass with an A grade.
However, I might be able to go to a branch office that is less difficult.
Sure enough, their decision to return the way they came was correct. They encountered no more strange tales along the way and made it home safely.
"Old Qin, take Xiao Lü to the guesthouse and arrange a room for her."
"If you need anything, just ask the housekeeper."
Qin Minglang nodded and led the little green fox to the guest building.
The little green fox didn't dare to look up, and only breathed a sigh of relief after slipping into the guest room with its head down.
"Sister Bai is so rich!"
Qin Minglang remembered something.
"You might meet Boss Bai's fiancés later, there are seven of them including Gu Yuan and Chi Yuan."
"If you see it, don't look around randomly, and don't make a fuss."
The little green fox pursed its lips tightly, its eyes wide open.
"I see."
The little green fox lived on the second floor of the guest building.
“We both live on the first floor, it’s more convenient that way, you can just call out if you need anything.”
