Rules of Horror + Seven Golden Fingers + Sliced Male Lead.
The Rules of Horror descended, and Bai Sang inexplicably got engaged to seven supernatural husbands, possessing a huge dowry.
...
Before them appeared all the members of the Jia family.
They stood in a neat row, their faces blue and their fangs bared, looking just like zombies about to attack the city.
Holy crap, I haven't even recovered from my daughter's tears yet.
[That last long fast-forwarded section terrified me.]
Girls in the past really had no status. Look at these young ladies, all so glamorous and beautiful, while the maids of similar age lived lives worse than pigs and dogs.
Why are people divided into different classes? What's the basis for this division?
[I've always wondered why the host would delve into this ghost story, but now I understand. Feudal ethics are deadly, especially for women.]
I feel so sorry for those maids.
[But with so many strange things stopping the streamer, I hope he'll be alright.]
Finally, someone turned their attention to the strangeness of the Grand View Garden.
"Where is Lin Daiyu? Give Lin Daiyu back to me."
"Zijuan, I asked you to serve Miss Lin, not to make her lose her."
"Zijuan, our Jia family has treated you very well."
The strange beings in front of him were talking amongst themselves, while Bai Sang stood still, his mind racing.
"Second Madam Lian".
Suddenly, Bai Sang spoke up.
"Grandpa, please don't be anxious. We haven't even figured things out yet, and you're already getting worked up."
Wang Xifeng proved to be reliable; she stepped forward and smoothed things over with a smile.
However, the pollution on her body had clearly worsened, and the sight of maggots with their heads half-exposed made Bai Sang want to vomit.
"Where exactly did Lin Daiyu go? You should tell everyone properly."
Bai Sang looked at everyone strangely.
"She left."
"Nonsense! Lin Daiyu would never leave me; she is truly devoted to me."
Jia Baoyu is about to go mad again.
"What are you staying for?"
Bai Sang's gaze swept across Jia Baoyu's face.
"Did you die of tears on your wedding night?"
Jia Baoyu was stunned.
"No, I am going to marry Lin Daiyu. My grandmother has already agreed."
He turned to look at Old Mrs. Jia.
Old Mrs. Jia turned her head away somewhat guiltily.
Bai Sang finally confirmed her guess.
Many of them still remember the past.
When Bai Sang toured the Grand View Garden, she felt that it was not as exquisite and luxurious as described in the book.
In addition, there are rules.
Jia Min is looking at you.
Why is Jia Min looking at her?
Naturally, it's because Jia Min's soul has always been there.
This is naturally because this strange tale is a manifestation of Jia Min's loving heart towards Lin Daiyu.
She wanted to awaken her daughter and make her face reality.
When the events within the Jia family failed to fully awaken Lin Daiyu, Jia Min chose to make Lin Daiyu confront the tears of a young woman.
"No matter what you say, you little slut, it's still your fault today."
Wang Xifeng stepped forward and gently patted Old Madam Jia's chest.
"Grandmother, please don't upset yourself."
"Zijuan, you'd better give the ancestor an explanation right now, or I can't protect you from this ordeal."
Wang Xifeng's help was more like trying to smooth things over; it might actually be useful, but Bai Sang no longer needed it.
As cockroaches and maggots kept falling off Old Mrs. Jia, Bai Sang suddenly turned around and ran towards the river.
"An explanation? I'll give you one right away."
"Make a wish to make this ghost story disappear completely, at the cost of all the strange flesh and blood within it."
Bai Sang's voice rang out, followed by a gentle female voice in the air.
"As you wish."
"Please treat my son well."
As the last sentence rang out, the scene in front of Bai Sang changed.
She stood on the street, holding the copy of "Dream of the Red Chamber" in her hand.
"Boss, how much is this?"
Seeing that people still buy books these days, the shopkeeper immediately said, "Ten ghost coins, you can take that whole stack."
Bai Sang sent a message to Song Xiaofu, asking the housekeeper to help her move the books.
Soon, Song Xiaofu, Chi Yuan, and the housekeeper arrived.
Chi Yuanfei ran forward, took Bai Sang's hand, and his eyes were filled with tears.
"Sister, are you alright?"
Bai Sang shook her head.
"I'm fine, I just didn't expect it to happen so suddenly."
"Sangsang, Shen Yuan has gone back, and those two are at home attacking him."
Bai Sang sneered as she recalled the feeling of almost suffocating that night.
"No need for attack; from now on, we'll keep to ourselves."
The butler easily picked up all the books and followed the group back to the manor.
Bai Sang only saw Gu Yuan and Mo Yuan in the living room.
In front of Gu Yuan was a crushed wine glass.
"Why are you angry?"
Bai Sang entered the house with a smile, "I can still come back without him."
"Once everyone comes out, I'll have to rely on you all more when I go into ghost stories."
Chi Yuan immediately grabbed Bai Sang's sleeve.
"Sister, I'm here for you, you can trust me."
Mo Yuan walked to the sofa and sat down, putting his long legs on the coffee table.
"You're a weakling."
Chi Yuan, however, was not angry at all.
"As long as my sister is happy, you can say whatever you want."
Bai Sang smiled and asked the housekeeper to prepare some food.
"I'm going back to my room to take a shower first."
Jia Min's last words, "Please treat my son well," left Bai Sang somewhat puzzled.
She needs to go back to her room and think about it.
When Bai Sang reached the second floor, she saw Shen Yuan entering his room.
Shen Yuan didn't even glance at her.
Bai Sang didn't even glance at him.
However, that room must be the one with the worst ventilation and lighting on the second floor.
