It was already past 11:45 PM, and the Third Miss still hadn't returned.

Anji was filled with unease in the room, and then ran to the courtyard where He You's office was located, but found no one there.

She jumped nervously onto the roof and searched around.

Finally, some time away from the Dali Temple, they saw the war slave carrying medicine towards a house in a courtyard.

Li Baobei was startled. How did she end up on the adult's bed?

Could the adults have already discovered her identity?

She immediately touched her clothes, thank goodness! They were all still intact.

He then tentatively asked, "Sir, thank you! You've helped me again. I didn't know I had a fever. I didn't say anything delirious while I was asleep, did I?"

She clenched her hands tightly, and they were sweating.

"No, you should get some rest! You don't need to go to the study today," He You replied casually.

He then stood up and walked out.

Li Baobei secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Luckily, the adults hadn't discovered she was a woman, otherwise she would have been kicked out long ago.

A moment later, Anji brought in breakfast. As soon as she saw Anji, she asked, "Anji, how did I end up in Lord He's room? That's really strange!" She picked up the porridge and started drinking.

She hadn't eaten all night and was very hungry now.

Anji suddenly remembered what Heyou had said to him that morning: I won't expose your identities. Just protect her well and don't say anything else.

Then, Anji calmly said, "You were sick and fainted. This place is the closest to Lord He's study, so I came here."
