"He You, wake up! Wake up! Get up and run!"

Li Baobei cried out desperately in her nightmare.

Suddenly, that invisible force pulled her again. She didn't want to leave; she wanted to wake him, but the force wouldn't let her resist and dragged her into another darkness.

She slumped down, clutching her legs tightly, her mouth still desperately repeating, "He You, run, run..."

Then they were plunged into endless despair.

The people on the roof heard the sounds coming from inside the house.

She then jumped down in a slightly flustered manner, landed lightly on the ground, pushed open the door, and went inside.

The person lying down was making soft, babbling murmurs.

Tears welled in the corners of her eyes, as if she had already cried all her tears, and there were dried tear tracks on her cheeks.

Upon seeing the person he had longed for day and night again, his heart trembled violently.

He sat down gently beside her and quietly watched her.

He was afraid she would suddenly wake up, afraid to see her desperate and empty eyes again.

He gently took her slightly trembling hand in his. Her hand was so small and soft, as if it would disappear if he applied even the slightest pressure.

"I miss you so much, Li Nannan."

A faint sound arose, but no one heard it; it disappeared into the inconspicuous darkness of the night.

Suddenly feeling warmth in her hand, Li Baobei calmed down, feeling so warm and at ease.

He You just watched her like that, and time flew by.

After an unknown amount of time, Li Baobei slowly opened her hazy eyes, her hands still seemingly retaining a faint warmth.

"My lord, have you come to see me?"

Upon waking up, Li Baobei felt instantly lost looking at the empty room.

It's as if he's always been by my side.

Why can't I see you? What's wrong!

She then gave a bitter smile and said self-deprecatingly, "How could he possibly come to see me? It's just wishful thinking."

The unusual emotions were hidden away, as if they had simply vanished.

Bizhu came in a moment later carrying a basin of warm water.

After breakfast, Li Baobei sat on the swing in the garden in front of the house. Today she felt particularly refreshed.

The weather was perfect; the setting sun hung in the west, casting golden light across the earth.

That ginkgo tree looked as if it had been painted with shimmering gold paint; it was incredibly beautiful.

Occasionally a breeze blows, and the ginkgo leaves slowly fall, like golden butterflies dancing gracefully, which is quite a beautiful sight.

A faint smile appeared on her lips, and against the backdrop of this beautiful scenery, she looked like a fairy who had descended to earth, so beautiful that it was almost unbelievable.

"Miss, the fourth young lady of the Zhang family is requesting an audience. Do you wish to see her?"

Bizhu walked in slowly from outside the door, talking as she went.

Li Baobei found it strange. She hadn't met many people since she came to this world, so who was this fourth young lady of the Zhang family?

She thought about it carefully, and it seemed that there was no such person in the original owner's memories.

Oh well, seeing him won't hurt me.

"Let her in!"

Bizhu then turned and went out, and soon returned with a young girl.

The girl wore a pale yellow silk dress and a white cloak. Her dark hair fluttered in the breeze, and her face was as beautiful as a peach blossom. She was an exceptionally beautiful woman.

Li Baobei looked somewhat familiar, but she couldn't remember where she had seen him before.

Upon seeing her savior, Zhang Pan'er quickly walked over and was about to kneel down.

As Zhang Pan'er was about to kneel down again, Li Baobei frowned.

"If you kneel again, I'll get angry."

As she spoke, she pretended to be angry and sat down on the stone bench.

Zhang Pan'er immediately stopped what she was doing, feeling a bit awkward. She suddenly felt that neither standing nor sitting was an option, and she was too embarrassed to speak.

"Come over and have a cup of tea!"

Bizhu then poured a cup of tea for Li Baobei, and poured another cup on the other side of the stone table.

Li Baobei picked up the tea and gently blew on it, her movements elegant and graceful, clearly showing the demeanor of a lady from a distinguished family.

Zhang Pan'er's cheeks flushed slightly as she slowly sat down on the stone bench, gently picked up the tea, and stared blankly at the tea.

Is the tea too hot?

Li Baobei carefully examined this Miss Zhang. She was thin and looked much thinner than the daughters of ordinary officials.

Her hands weren't as delicate as those of a typical young lady; instead, they looked rough, as if she did a lot of work.

Her clothes looked clean and tidy, but they showed signs of wear.

Zhang Pan'er noticed that Li Baobei seemed to be looking at her hand, and instantly felt a little flustered, so she gripped the teacup in her hand even tighter.

Li Baobei noticed her panic and turned to look at Bizhu.
