Seeing this, Yu Xin laughed heartily and didn't force the issue.

"Alright, everyone get out."

She waved her hand, and the handsome men retreated in an orderly fashion, immediately silencing the room.

Yu Xin turned to look at Li Susu, her eyes suddenly becoming serious.

"Arno, are we... friends now?"

Li Susu was slightly taken aback; the question came rather suddenly.

She hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

"I guess so."

Yu Xin smiled, as if a heavy burden had been lifted from her shoulders.

"That's good."

She took a deep breath, as if she had made a major decision.

"Actually... I asked Fu Xingzhou to come to Rose Manor."

Li Susu did not show much surprise.

"I guessed it."

Yu Xin carefully observed Li Susu's expression, afraid that she would get angry.

"Don't be angry, I did this to help you."

"I'll help you regain your memories."

"You know, Fu Xingzhou... he cares about you a lot, and he's been trying to find ways to help you."

"What...are you thinking?"

Yu Xin's voice was very soft, with a hint of probing.

"There's no one else here, so you can speak frankly."

Li Susu remained silent for a moment, her eyes filled with complex emotions.

"I came to China to try and regain my memories."

Yu Xin nodded in agreement without hesitation.

She looked at Li Susu with sincere eyes.

Li Susu's lips curled up slightly, revealing a faint smile.

The atmosphere between the two relaxed considerably, and they began to chat about lighter topics.

Just then, the door to the room was suddenly pushed open.

Chen Ke stood anxiously at the door, his forehead covered in sweat.

Li Susu and Yu Xin both looked towards the doorway, their eyes filled with surprise.

Chen Ke scanned the room and only breathed a slight sigh of relief after confirming that there were no other outsiders.

"Su Su, I... I was just passing by when I saw your car parked here, so... I came in to take a look."

He stammered a little, his eyes darted around, and he was clearly nervous.

Li Susu noticed Chen Ke's nervousness at a glance and felt somewhat displeased.

Chen Ke was indeed her savior and her good friend.

However, he shouldn't keep interfering in her private life.

"Oh, is that so?"

She responded coldly and perfunctorily.

Chen Ke's explanation was weak and even somewhat incoherent.

Li Susu felt a surge of irritation.

Yu Xin burst out laughing.

Yu Xin joked, her eyes and brows full of laughter.

"If you didn't know better, you two would look like a couple."

Chen Ke's expression immediately turned somewhat awkward.

He looked at Li Susu for help, only to find her eyes were icy cold.

He had no choice but to bite the bullet and say to Yu Xin, "I have something I'd like to talk to Su Su about alone. Could you please step outside for a moment?"

Yu Xin raised an eyebrow and gave the two of them a meaningful look.

"Okay, you guys chat, I won't bother you anymore."

After she finished speaking, she got up and left the room, closing the door behind her.

As the room door closed, a strange sense of oppression spread through the air.
