I slowly woke up, my head still throbbing as if I had been hit by a heavy hammer.

As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw Luo Tianhe's haggard face.

His eyes were bloodshot, his face still bore traces of tears, and stubble had sprouted, making him look extremely disheveled.

Did Luo Ge cry?

"Old Chen, you're finally awake!"

Luo Tianhe's voice was filled with relief at surviving the ordeal: "You have no idea how long you've been unconscious. I really thought you were dead!"

I opened my mouth, my throat was so dry, and the sound I made was as hoarse as sandpaper.

"Luo... Brother Luo, what's wrong with me..."

Halfway through my sentence, I suddenly heard Luo Tianhe exclaim in surprise, "Old Chen, you're really awake! That glowing little ball in your pocket really works! Holy crap, I thought I was hallucinating!"

I was completely taken aback.

Still not fully awake, she asked him in confusion, "What little ball?"

Luo Tianhe looked at me as if I were a monster and said...

"It's that little green ball that you always keep in your pocket that glows. Before, you were unconscious and your face was so dark it was terrifying. I was almost in despair when I noticed that thing in your pocket was glowing. I thought it might save you, and it actually worked!"

A glowing green ball?

I realized it instantly.

Snake pills!

Ignoring the excruciating pain, I reached into my pocket, only to find nothing.

My heart skipped a beat, and I asked anxiously, "Brother Luo, where's the snake pill? Where did my snake pill go?"

Luo Tianhe looked bewildered: "What snake pill?"

"It's that little green ball that glows!"

"Oh, I fed you, otherwise you wouldn't have woken up!" Luo Tianhe said matter-of-factly.

"Hey, did you feed me?" I almost jumped up from the ground.

Luo Tianhe leaned against the rock wall, nodded helplessly, and began to tell his story.

“At that time, you were bitten by a snake and your whole body was covered in wounds, bleeding profusely. Your face was as black as the bottom of a pot. I thought you were beyond saving. I couldn’t find anything that could cure the poison, and I was extremely anxious.”

"Later, I noticed a small green ball that was glowing in your pocket, so I took it out to look at it."

"But I have no idea what this is. I studied it for a long time but still couldn't figure it out."

"When I came to my senses, I looked at you and you were gone. I... I was devastated. I thought I had to find a place to bury you, so I chose that spot and dug a hole."

As he spoke, he pointed to a half-dug pit not far away.

The soil around the pit was piled up haphazardly, and a sharp rock used for digging the pit was lying next to it.

I looked in the direction he was pointing, and my face immediately darkened.

They really dug a hole!

Looking at the rock face next to it, there are a few words crookedly carved in stone: "Tomb of Old Brother Chen Yan".

The handwriting was crooked and slanted, showing how flustered Luo Tianhe was at the time.

I almost choked on my breath. After catching my breath, I asked him, "And then?"

Luo Tianhe suddenly perked up, his eyes shining, and he gesticulated excitedly as he spoke.

"Later, just as I was about to bury you, I suddenly discovered that the snake bite wounds on your body had disappeared, as if you had never been bitten at all!"

"Disappeared?"

I looked down in disbelief and quickly checked my body.

Sure enough, the skin in the area that was originally covered with wounds was smooth and without a single scar.

I tried pressing it with my hand, but it still hurt terribly.

The pain came from inside the body, like being hit hard; the outside was fine, but the internal organs were injured.

"Yes, I was also shocked at the time. I thought it was too amazing, but your face was still frighteningly dark and you had no breath. I thought, let's try anything, so I forcibly pried open your mouth and stuffed that little green ball into your mouth."

"Hey, guess what? Not long after, you stirred and slowly woke up!"

After saying that, Luo Tianhe shrugged and couldn't help but complain, "Hey Lao Chen, you should have told me you had such a powerful treasure! You really gave me a hard time, I almost buried you. If I hadn't fed it to you, you would have been dead!"

I sat on the ground, listening to Luo Tianhe's story, feeling a mix of emotions.

This snake pill actually has such miraculous effects.

But what changes will occur in my body after I swallow it?

Just as I was about to take off my clothes to investigate, a deep rumbling sound suddenly came from the depths of the passage, as if some huge object was slowly moving.

The ground began to tremble slightly, and small stones began to fall from overhead.

Luo Tianhe scrambled to his feet and looked ahead.

"Holy crap, what's going on now? An earthquake?"

The tremors grew more and more intense, and cracks began to appear in the walls on both sides of the passage, emitting a chilling creaking sound.

"No, we can't just sit here and wait to die. We have to find another way out quickly."

I struggled to my feet, using my right hand to support myself against the wall, trying to maintain my balance.

Luo Tianhe quickly came over to help me, and we walked step by step with difficulty into the depths of the passage.

Every step was accompanied by violent tremors, as if the whole world was collapsing.

"Old Chen, if this passage collapses, we're doomed!" Luo Tianhe was extremely anxious.

"Stop talking nonsense, let's take it one step at a time!"

Despite being weak and in excruciating pain, my will to survive drove me to move forward relentlessly.
