Humans have Three Souls and Seven Spirits, ghosts have Nine Netherworld Obsessions and Five Aggregates of Fire. But from the time I was born, I was missing an Earth Soul.
From a young age, I ...
It’s over!
I tried to run to the left, but suddenly, several more people rushed out of the darkness.
The former richest man squinted at the three of us, his face so gloomy it looked like it could drip water.
He slightly raised his hand: "Arrest them."
Upon hearing this, the bodyguards immediately pounced on us like wolves.
Seeing this, I hurriedly rummaged through the cloth bag containing Bai Su's remains behind me and pulled out the red embroidered dress, holding it high.
He shouted loudly at them, "Do you see what this is? Come and try it!"
"Don't move!"
The former richest man immediately raised his hand to signal the bodyguards not to move, and looked at the Xiuhe dress in my hand.
Gritting his teeth, he asked, enunciating each word clearly, "What did you do to my daughter?"
I took a deep breath, took out one of Bai Su's thighs from the cloth bag, gripped a handful of cinnabar tightly in my right hand, and roared loudly.
"Don't move, or I'll destroy it!"
"You dare!!!"
The former richest man glared at me fiercely, his eyes filled with a hatred that seemed to want to devour me alive.
However, because of what I possessed, he ultimately dared not allow anyone to act rashly.
"What did you do to my daughter! What have you done to her! Tell me or I'll kill you all!"
The former richest man gritted his teeth and squeezed out each word from between them.
I didn't answer his question directly, but said loudly, "As long as you let us go, I'll return your Bai Su's thigh to you intact!"
"impossible!"
The former richest man refused without hesitation: "None of you will leave here alive today!"
Faced with his tough stance, I did not back down and braced myself to confront him head-on.
"Since that's the case, don't blame me for being ruthless! I mean what I say. If you don't let us go, I'll destroy it right now!"
As I spoke, I raised the cinnabar in my hand high, as if to sprinkle it onto that thigh.
"Wait!"
The former richest man was so frightened by my actions that his face changed drastically: "I can let you go."
He paused, his voice tinged with resentment: "But do you think you can escape? I have people everywhere; I'll find you no matter where you are!"
I sneered, "That's none of your concern! You just need to keep your promise and let us leave."
The former richest man remained silent.
He stared intently at me, his eyes flashing with a complex mix of emotions: anger, resentment, and above all, helplessness.
After a long silence, he slowly raised his hand and waved it weakly: "Get out of the way!"
Although the bodyguards looked puzzled, they obeyed the order and slowly backed away, making way for us.
We kept a close eye on Zeng, the richest man, and his bodyguards as we slowly backed away.
Luo Tianhe's car was parked not far away; once you got in the car, you were temporarily safe.
The moment the car door opened, Jin and I shoved Luo Tianhe into the back seat and quickly got in the car.
Before driving, I threw that leg out without hesitation.
Zeng, the richest man, ran forward, picked up Bai Su's leg, and roared, "Chase them! You must catch them!"
The bodyguards quickly rushed to the nearby vehicles, started the engines, and chased after us.
I floored the gas pedal and kept changing lanes, trying to shake off their pursuit.
But no matter what they did, they couldn't shake off the convoy that was hot on their heels.
With a loud "bang!"
A bodyguard's car sped past us from the side like a black lightning bolt.
The rear of the car slammed into the left bumper of our car.
The car instantly went out of control, carving a huge arc wildly across the road.
I understand, they're trying to force us to stop.
Just as I was about to crash into the roadside guardrail, I gripped the steering wheel tightly with all my might.
At this critical moment, the car miraculously steered itself less than ten centimeters from the guardrail and continued rushing forward.
The bodyguard vehicle that tried to force us to stop almost lost control and crashed into the guardrail because of our sudden turn.
The car shook violently, and items inside were flung everywhere, hitting the car body with a "crashing" sound.
Jin Ye and Luo Tianhe were caught off guard in the back seat, their bodies being tossed around by the powerful centrifugal force.
Jin slammed his head against the car door, howling in pain.
Luo Tianhe remained unconscious, his body rolling around in his seat, his head stuck between the driver's and passenger's seats.
But there's no time to pull him now.
There was nothing that could be done but let him roll around like a ball.
As two more cars approached, I shouted at Master Jin, "Master Jin, throw Bai Su's limbs out the window!"
Jin Ye struggled to steady himself, rummaged through the cloth bag and pulled out Bai Su's severed limbs, then threw them toward the pursuing vehicle.
The bodyguards were so frightened that they quickly moved aside and slowed down.
Taking advantage of their momentary slowdown, I jerked the steering wheel and veered onto a narrow road.
The path was lined with dense woods on both sides and was rugged and uneven.
The once richest man's motorcade was extremely difficult to drive on this road due to its large size, and the chassis was bumped and rattled.
I took the opportunity to speed up, turning left and right on the path, going wherever it led astray.
They gradually increased the distance between themselves and the convoy.
I only slowed down after I had completely gotten rid of the former richest man; my clothes were soaked with sweat.
Jin Ye's head was hit, and his face was covered in blood.
Luo Tianhe was in an even worse state; his face was covered in wounds, and his arm was dislocated from some unknown injury, twisted behind his back at an odd angle.
Fortunately, he was still unconscious and didn't feel any pain.
