Sun Jiacheng patted Tan Jinhui on the shoulder and said with a smile, "You've got some nerve, daring to impersonate a section chief. Do you know what the consequences will be?"

Tan Jinhui nodded heavily and said, "I know, I know, I am willing to accept any punishment. Captain Sun, my family is in imminent danger. I had nowhere else to turn, so I came here. Please take me to see Team Leader Ning. He promised me that I could come to him if I had any difficulties!"

Sun Jiacheng could tell that Tan Jinhui was extremely anxious, so he didn't say anything more and handed him over to the section chief. He figured the section chief would be very happy to see Tan Jinhui.

“Alright, Tan Jinhui, now I’ll take you to see Team Leader Ning. But Team Leader Ning is now the head of the Second Action Division of the Military Intelligence Bureau. Tan Jinhui was taken aback when he heard this. He looked at Sun Jiacheng in surprise, wanting to ask but not daring to.

Sun Jiacheng stepped forward and gently patted his back to straighten his body. He smiled slightly and said, "Since you've already impersonated him once, keep impersonating him. Do you remember what I taught you? Stand up straight, look straight ahead, and turn the corner of your mouth slightly to the left. Good, good, that's it!"

Following Sun Jiacheng's instructions, Tan Jinhui adjusted his posture, then looked at Sun Jiacheng nervously and said, "Is this how it is? Captain Sun, why did you do this? Won't the sergeant be angry?"

Ning Zhiheng's voice came from inside. Sun Jiacheng gestured for Tan Jinhui to wait outside the door, and then pushed the door open and went in.

Ning Zhiheng was the only one in the room. Normally, given his rank, he should have one or two secretaries, but Ning Zhiheng knew that his situation was special and he would not stay at headquarters most of the time. He would also delegate his daily official duties to Wei Liangbi, so he did not need to have any secretaries.

More importantly, Ning Zhiheng is very strict with the people around him. He is wary of everyone and only accepts those who have followed him for a long time and gained his trust. However, he does not have such a candidate at hand, so he simply gave up the position.

Tan Jinhui? Ning Zhiheng's eyes lit up. He had been thinking of sending someone to Jiujiang to find this person, but now that area was occupied, the search would be difficult. He was hesitating when he didn't expect Sun Jiacheng to bring him here.

"Well done, you're very quick!" Ning Zhiheng said with a smile.

Ning Zhiheng frowned and said softly, "Stand up!"

Seeing someone who looked exactly like him kneeling before him, as if they were his own shadow, Ning Zhiheng felt a surge of anger rising within him.

"If you ever dare to kneel before anyone again, I will personally execute you!"

His words were filled with undisguised murderous intent, and the air temperature in the room seemed to drop several degrees, sending a chill down Tan Jinhui's spine.

He hurriedly stood up and bowed in front of Ning Zhiheng.

"explain!"

Tan Jinhui quickly recounted his family's ordeal to Ning Zhiheng, pleading, "Chief, they are currently torturing me severely. My cousin is about to collapse, and I'm afraid they will harm my mother. She is too weak and her life will be in danger! Please act quickly, or it will be too late!"
