Chapter 912: Protecting Mother-in-law

The ward finally became quiet.

Ji Chuan looked down at Xu Hui's face and body carefully. Seeing no external injuries, he asked, "What happened? Why did you attack?"

Xu Hui turned his head towards the bed and exchanged glances with Xiang Meijuan. Then he turned around and said, "This woman is so shameless that she came to provoke me. Beating her is the least I can do."

Xiang Meijuan's gaze stayed on her face for two seconds, then she looked away without saying a word.

Xu Hui looked at Ji Chuan, "Is your trial over?"

Ji Chuan: "It's just right for a break."

Xu Hui: "Then hurry back and leave this to me."

Ji Chuan turned around and looked at his mother with some concern. Xiang Meijuan also urged: "What are you looking at? Can I still fight with her?"

Ji Chuan: "Then you take a rest. I'll come over as soon as I'm done."

Xu Hui pushed him out and said, "Don't worry, if Ji Qingming comes, I will guard the door and not let him in."

Ji Chuan: "He doesn't dare to come."

Xu Hui: "Then I'm not afraid anymore. Go away."

The door closed and Xu Hui turned and walked towards the bed.

Xiang Meijuan watched her walk back step by step without saying anything to chase her away.
