The bodyguard said, "Young Master Huo has gone to see the dean. Miss Xia, please wait a moment."

“He’s been gone for a long time, can you push me over there to see him?” Xia Wanwan said to the bodyguard.

The bodyguard glanced at the wheelchair beside him and agreed.

Huo Nanxiao had already left the dean's office. Knowing that Xia Ningxi was performing surgery on a patient on the second floor, Huo Nanxiao waited outside the operating room.

When the operating room doors opened and Xia Ningxi walked out, the white coat she was wearing was extremely jarring to Huo Nanxiao.

Xia Ningxi sneered: "Yes, I did it on purpose."

"Xia Ningxi!" Huo Nanxiao was furious.

Xia Ningxi curled her lips into a smile: "Young Master Huo, I gave you a chance. Since you are unwilling to let me take the child abroad, then I will stay at Ninghai Hospital. I want to see if Xia Wanwan can still focus on recovering from this illness after seeing me and your child every day."

She unceremoniously shook off Huo Nanxiao's hand and pressed the elevator button for her floor.

Huo Nanxiao stepped into the elevator.
