She had originally planned to go to the hospital immediately after dropping her three children off at kindergarten, but Li Yancheng took her to see what was going on.

Xia Ningxi said impatiently, "Li Yancheng, if you really like Xia Wanwan, you can still get out of the car and stop her. If you're just bored and want to see me make a fool of myself, then hurry up and drive. I need to go to the hospital!"

The hospital director said, "Dr. Xia, you've finally arrived."

"What does the dean want to see me about?" Xia Ningxi asked.

The dean said, "I'm thinking of doing a research project here, and I'd like you to lead the team. I wonder if you'd be interested?"

"Thank you for your guidance, Dean. I plan to leave next month and will no longer participate in any of the hospital's projects," Xia Ningxi politely declined his invitation.

The dean was shocked: "Resign? Are you really going to leave with Don?"

"Yes. He has already arranged a job for me with a good future, so you don't need to worry about it," Xia Ningxi replied.

The hospital director slowly removed his glasses and said earnestly, "Dr. Xia, there are only a handful of people in the country who can perform surgeries with the precision you have. We need talent like you. Is the hospital not offering you enough? Here's what we'll do: you name your terms, name whatever you want. As long as you're willing to stay, I'll even fire my position as vice director and let you be the one!"
