Wu Zhenyuan's pitiful appearance seemed utterly ridiculous to Song Lan.

In the past, he had cultivated an image of a steady, responsible, and devoted husband who loved only her.

So she persuaded her father to accept him, promote him, and give him all his support and love.

But now he's selfish? Pathetic, even asking for favors feels so strange and repulsive.

Wu Maoyan lost his temper and beat Wu Zhenyuan severely in the ward.

Wu Youyou hugged Song Lan, tears streaming down her face, crying and screaming. Seeing her father being brutally beaten by her older brother, her heart shattered into pieces.

The doctor rushed over quickly and, seeing the ward in complete chaos, immediately reprimanded them.

Upon hearing this, Wu Maoyan immediately stopped what he was doing, and everyone was ushered out of the ward by the doctor.

Despite a series of emergency treatments, the doctor still noticed the doctor's brow was furrowed.

Wu Youyou and the others waited outside, while Wu Zhenyuan stood alone to the side, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth with his sleeve.

His face contorted in pain, and he kept muttering something from the side.

"Ouch, that hurts so much!"

Looking at her father's feigned pitifulness, Wu Youyou felt a chill in her heart. She walked up to Wu Zhenyuan and looked at him.

"Dad, what did you say to Mom? Why is she so angry?"

When Wu Zhenyuan saw that his daughter had finally come over, he thought she was concerned about him and would be as considerate as before. However, he did not expect that she had come to criticize him.

Although he was angry, the thought that she was still going to marry into the Xiao family brought a slight smile to his face.

Instead of becoming a strict father, he continued to play the victim, grabbing Wu Youyou's arm and sobbing.

Wu Youyou did not soften in the slightest because of his pleas; on the contrary, she became even more cold-blooded.

Wu Youyou stood there stunned. She thought her father was asking her to ask Shi Zhan for help, but she never expected that he was asking her to marry that cruel Xiao Ran.

After being knocked down by a punch, Wu Zhenyuan felt that one of his teeth was very loose. He licked it with his tongue and then felt a hard object in his mouth. He spat it out and was surprised to find that one of his old teeth had been knocked out.
