Director Wang pulled a key from the bunch of keys at his waist, opened a room on the first floor, and said to the men, "The comrades in this room have all gone to the Military Region Hospital. You six can stay here. Put your things down and wait for me downstairs. I'll take these two women upstairs first."

After reaching the upper floor, Director Wang found the key and unlocked a room near the stairs. He said to Yun Qiao and Jiang Hua, "You two can sleep in this room. Put on your coats, put down your other things, and follow me downstairs."

Yun Qiao and Jiang Hua put the things in their hands into the house and obediently changed into their robes.

After coming out of the room, Director Wang took out the key from the key ring and handed it to Yun Qiao and Jiang Zhan as he walked downstairs. "This is the room key. Who of you keeps it?"

Jiang Hua took the initiative and said, "I'm a few years older than Comrade Ye, so I'll keep it."

Director Wang nodded and handed the key to Jiang Hua: "Then you must keep it safe. This is the only key I have. If you lose it, it will be gone."

Jiang Hua agreed: "Don't worry, Director Wang, I will keep it safe."

After going downstairs, he met up with six male medical workers downstairs. Director Wang said to them, "Put on your medical gowns too."

Director Wang first led the eight of them around the various departments in the outpatient building, and five of them were left behind.

Afterwards, he took the three remaining people, Yun Qiao, Jiang Hua, and Lu Yingjie, to the hospital building.

After knocking on the office door, Director Wang said to the person inside, "Head Nurse Yu, these three comrades are newly qualified health workers who have just passed the examination. They have been sent by the Health Bureau to help you for a few days. Please make arrangements for them."

Head nurse Yu Lu nodded: "Okay, I understand. Thank you for your help."

Yu Lu put down the shift schedule in her hand, looked at them and said, "Please introduce yourself first. Tell me your name, age, and what you can do."

Yu Lu first called on the only gay man, Lu Yingjie: "You go first."

Jiang Hua was next: "Hello, Head Nurse Yu. My name is Jiang Hua. I'm thirteen years old and from the Ninth Regiment. My father is a doctor at the Ninth Regiment Headquarters Hospital.
