【Mutual crush, redemption, deliberate seduction, ambiguous tension, double purity】
Su Yueming had a smooth life, getting whatever he wanted. However, he woke up to find himself imprisoned...
Chapter 41 Never Leave Me
A cool breeze blew in through the slightly open window, gently ruffling the hair on Wang Yan's forehead.
Shen Le'an's gaze was instantly drawn to the tuft of hair, which he stared at without blinking.
"Teacher, your hair."
Wang Yan frowned at his form of address, worried that Su Yueming in the bedroom might overhear and learn about his profession.
"Don't call me teacher anymore after you leave school."
"What's it called?" Shen Le'an asked with delight, his eyes sparkling. "Brother Yan, what do you think?"
Wang Yan's first reaction to this title was that it seemed a bit strange.
Perhaps it's because no one has ever called him "brother".
"That's fine then."
Wang Yan couldn't think of a good title for a moment.
"I was just about to wake you up when you pushed the door open and came out." Joy crept onto Shen Le'an's eyebrows. "I've already prepared breakfast, come and have a taste."
Wang Yan was somewhat taken aback, then smelled the fragrance wafting from the living room.
Wang Yan felt embarrassed; how could he let the guests cook?
"I'm so sorry," Wang Yan said to Shen Le'an, his face showing a hint of apology. "I'm troubling you with cooking."
"It's nothing." Shen Le'an felt it was only natural and curled the corners of his mouth. "Consider this payment for Yan-ge for taking me in last night."
"Oh well."
Wang Yan didn't dwell on it too much and slowly walked to the dining table.
Just by looking at the dishes, one can tell that Shen Le'an is a very good cook.
Because it looks very appealing.
"Try it quickly."
Shen Le'an pulled out a chair and handed the chopsticks to Wang Yan.
Wang Yan did not refuse, took the chopsticks, picked up some shredded potatoes, and put them in his mouth to chew.
He looked up and saw Shen Le'an's expectant gaze. He didn't prolong his anticipation but nodded in satisfaction.
"very nice."
"I'm glad you like it."
Shen Le'an relaxed his body and leaned back in his chair, but his gaze remained fixed on Wang Yan. "I can come over and cook for you anytime you like."
Wang Yan glanced up at him, assuming he was just being polite.
"Thank you in advance."
"You're welcome."
Shen Le'an chuckled softly, resting his chin on one hand.
Just then, a sound suddenly came from inside the bedroom.
With a dull thud, it sounded as if something had fallen to the ground.
Wang Yan and Shen Le'an both looked over from the direction of the bedroom.
What was that sound?
Shen Le'an spoke first, sounding puzzled.
"Maybe the wind blew something over," Wang Yan thought for a moment and added, "Don't worry about it."
He lowered his eyes, his mind racing. He truly had no idea what Su Yueming was up to.
His eagerness to go back to the bedroom and investigate was suppressed.
"I see."
Shen Le'an didn't have too many suspicions; after all, who would imagine there was another person in the bedroom?
Because he had something on his mind, Wang Yan finished his meal as quickly as possible.
Then he gave Shen Le'an the order to leave, saying, "It's getting late, I should go to work."
Shen Le'an understood the meaning behind his words, but he decided to play dumb.
"Then Yan-ge, hurry up and wash up and change your clothes, don't be late for work."
Don't you have class today?
"No in the morning."
Seeing that he was unmoved by reason, Wang Yan could only say, "Then you should go home and not worry your parents."
“My parents are not locals; they live in another city.”
Wang Yanchang sighed and had no choice but to reveal his hand.
What I mean is, you can go now.
Shen Le'an raised an eyebrow; he had never expected Wang Yan to be so blunt.
Staying any longer would only annoy people, Shen Le'an understood this. "Alright, then see you this afternoon."
"Um."
Wang Yan gave a perfunctory reply, his mind already wandering back to his bedroom.
Shen Le'an reluctantly stood up and dawdled to the entrance.
"Bye-Bye."
With a bang, the door slammed shut, and he finally left.
Wang Yan breathed a sigh of relief and rushed into the bedroom.
The water glass rolled to the floor, but Su Yueming remained unharmed, sitting on the large bed.
Hearing the door open, Su Yueming turned his head to look at him, as if to explain, "The water glass fell on the floor."
So that's how it is. Wang Yan instantly felt relieved.
He bent down, picked up the water glass again, and placed it on the bedside table.
Are you thirsty?
Wang Yanchao asked Su Yueming.
Su Yueming licked his dry lips in response, "I didn't hold the water glass properly when I picked it up just now, did I disturb you?"
His words were full of apology, which left Wang Yan with mixed feelings.
"No, it didn't bother me."
"Really?" Su Yueming forced a wry smile, the suppressed questions in his heart finally erupting like a volcano: "But I heard other people in the living room. Were you two having dinner?"
Wang Yan was surprised by Su Yueming's sensitivity and hearing.
I want to deny it, but I feel that this is just trying to cover up the truth.
"He only came to stay for one night, and he has already left."
Su Yueming knew, of course, because he heard the door close; either Wang Yan had gone out, or that person had left.
"Really?" Su Yueming was still unhappy, but his voice sounded particularly aggrieved. "I thought you brought him home on purpose."
"How could that be?"
Wang Yan was somewhat surprised that Su Yueming would think that way.
"Why not? What if that person is more handsome than me? What if you want to imprison someone else?" Su Yueming said pitifully, as if he were a green tea bitch. "What can I do? I can't do anything. I can only passively accept it."
Wang Yan is a typical person who responds better to gentle persuasion than force.
Su Yueming's words reached his ears, and he almost instinctively picked up Su Yueming's fingers that were resting on his lap.
Sitting face to face, Wang Yan said sincerely, "I swear I absolutely won't. You're all I have. If you don't believe me, I swear on my life..."
Before Wang Yan could say anything, Su Yueming pressed his warm palm against his lips, saying that if he lied, he would be hit by a car and die.
He stopped Wang Yan from finishing his sentence.
“I don’t need you to make any solemn oaths,” Su Yueming said firmly. “You just need to say that you will never leave me, and that will be enough.”
Wang Yan gazed at Su Yueming's face and said without hesitation, "I will never leave you."
"If you dare leave me, I'll haunt you even as a ghost."
Su Yueming gazed into Wang Yan's brown eyes through the blindfold and murmured, his tone devoid of any hint of joking.
"Fine, even as a ghost, you won't let me go."
Wang Yan said he couldn't have asked for this more than he could have.
