The first time Mo Xiaoqing saw Ji Muhan was in a coffee shop with a "superb atmosphere."
Those clear, bright eyes, tinged with a hint of allure, left a deep impression on her heart.
Mo Xiaoqing snorted inwardly. The more he told her not to talk and not to worry, the more she wanted to talk.
"Your young master, who only knows how to hide behind the scenes, sent out so many people this time. Nine times out of ten, those people are just decoys, and they're all going to never come back, right? This ruthless devil who doesn't know how to cherish human life, actually has people like you who are so devoted to him. Is it really worth it?"
Despite Mo Xiaoqing's attempts to sow discord, the man remained unmoved and steadfast.
Mo Xiaoqing puffed out her cheeks in anger. In fact, she had already noticed on the way here that this man was blindly obedient to his young master. Moreover, perhaps in their eyes, human life was worthless.
Even if all of them were actually their people who were deployed and used as expendable pawns, they would probably die without any resentment.
She kicked the pebbles under her feet, somewhat dejected.
After groping her way through the dark, Mo Xiaoqing finally saw the long-awaited sunlight. To her even greater surprise, despite being unbearably hot inside while wearing two layers of clothing, a strong wind suddenly hit her here.
Once she had completely stepped outside, she discovered that she was in the middle of a vast ocean. They had emerged from a cave, and beyond the cave stood a large tree that provided complete shade, along with several large rocks nearby…
I suppose this hole is usually sealed tightly, right?
Oh…
"Your young master is truly meticulous and methodical. He has everything under control, and even if there is the slightest accident, he is able to turn the situation around very well."
Mo Xiaoqing smiled sweetly, seemingly harmless, but actually said sarcastically, "Should I feel fortunate that such a wise and powerful figure has caused such a big storm for someone as insignificant as me?"
The man remained indifferent, choosing to simply ignore Mo Xiaoqing's unmistakably sarcastic remarks.
He extended his hand to her, "Miss Mo, please give me your hand."
Mo Xiaoqing glanced at the terrain beside her in a daze, and found it to be an uneven, shaky cliff.
Even in this cliff she had never experienced before, she never considered relying on anyone, let alone the person in front of her who was her enemy…
She gave a cold laugh and slapped his hand away without giving him any face.
"Need not."
Then, under the watchful eyes of several people, she quickly climbed up with her hands. She was incredibly grateful that she usually preferred wearing trousers or shorts and rarely wore skirts, otherwise…
Wearing a skirt in this situation would be much more inconvenient.
"Miss Mo is truly an eye-opener; she is a woman who is just as capable as any man."
Mo Xiaoqing never hid her dissatisfaction and hostility towards them from beginning to end.
Even upon hearing such flattery, she merely snorted coldly, "No matter how capable a woman may be, she's still your prisoner now!"
Upon hearing this, the man subconsciously frowned, seemingly wanting to refute Mo Xiaoqing's statement.
After all, in his subconscious, they always believed that it was the young master's order to "invite" Mo Xiaoqing to their place.
How could he have become a prisoner?
Seeing his puzzled look, Mo Xiaoqing knew he was about to refute something, and couldn't help but roll her eyes. She felt like talking to him was like talking to a wooden stake; he wouldn't listen to anything she said, he just stuck to his own ideas…
Forget it, whether she's a prisoner or a guest of honor, it doesn't matter to her anymore.
Her biggest worry right now is Xixi and Wenjing. Although this man has repeatedly assured her that he would never harm either of them as long as she goes with him, but…
They had only met today, and she simply couldn't bring herself to trust a man she had never met before.
And what about her brother? She doesn't know what's going on with himself, and Hanhan... she doesn't even know if she's managed to rescue them both yet.
Mo Xiaoqing took a deep breath, suppressing all the anxiety in her heart.
Things have already come to this point, and she certainly can't hold them back. If things really escalate and threaten her brother and Hanhan's lives,
She's not...the kind of person who's afraid of death!
For the rest of the journey, Mo Xiaoqing's hands and feet remained bound, and her eyes were covered with a black cloth. She thought that perhaps this time she was really going to reach the end!
*
"I'm giving you ten more minutes. If you can't take care of these guys in ten minutes, I'll make you go through three more months of hellish training when you get back to the army!"
"..."
Upon hearing Ji Muhan's ultimatum, everyone felt a headache coming on and wanted to facepalm.
Although the enemy was not as strong as them, they were familiar with the terrain and were engaged in fierce fighting, completely disregarding the fact that the landmines would harm the nearby residents.
They had to deal with the enemy while also being careful not to harm the innocent residents nearby. With two things on their minds, it would take some time to completely eliminate them.
Moreover, those enemies weren't entirely mindless or untrained; they were likely members of the underworld who had used guns and killed people, so they were used to such bloody scenes.
They certainly need to be capable enough to dismantle it in one fell swoop under these circumstances; it's not an easy thing.
Moreover, the enemy seemed to have deliberately surrounded them here. Even though they had already taken out quite a few of them, more and more of them kept popping up, as if they could never be eliminated...
