The first time Mo Xiaoqing saw Ji Muhan was in a coffee shop with a "superb atmosphere."
Those clear, bright eyes, tinged with a hint of allure, left a deep impression on her heart.
Under his burning gaze, Mo Qing had no choice but to surrender. She took a step forward ingratiatingly, tugged at his sleeve and shook it, and flashed her most beautiful smile, as she coquettishly asked as usual, "Brother, why are you back? Were you on vacation?"
"You're coming back with me." Mo Yanyu's voice was calm, but her words left no room for argument.
"But, brother..." She didn't want to go back yet...
Mo Qing hesitated under his calm gaze, swallowing back the words she was about to say.
Mo Yanyu gave her a look that said, "Go back to squatting in a horse stance if you want."
Mo Qing immediately became obedient, standing beside him without saying a word, unable to muster any resistance.
But secretly he glared at Qiao Qian'an.
Her brother's sudden leave and subsequent appearance here had nothing to do with her, and she refused to believe it even if she were beaten to death.
Qiao Qian'an understood the deeper meaning in Mo Qing's eyes, and couldn't help but feel a little bitter.
I must have owed her something in my past life.
Fearing something might happen to her, they summoned Mo Yanyu overnight, but it only made her hold a grudge.
Indeed, in her eyes, besides Ji Muhan, she probably couldn't see anyone else...
After calming her spoiled brat down, Mo Yanyu glanced at the man opposite her with a calm expression, showing no surprise whatsoever.
A faint smile appeared on his lips, calm and composed. "The girl is naive, coming out to play alone. Thank you, Lieutenant Colonel Ji, for saving her this time."
Mo Yanyu's voice is clear and melodious, like a spring of water gently flowing through the heart, very comfortable and like a spring breeze.
"No need." Ji Muhan was not surprised at all and uttered two words indifferently.
From the moment he saw Mo Yanyu, he knew that he was the "special forces brother" that Mo Qing had mentioned.
"I've already notified the military helicopter to come pick you up." Mo Yanyu didn't waste any words, handing him the phone and getting straight to the point. "Also, I think you should need..."
"Thank you." Ji Muhan accepted the gift and thanked him calmly.
His military phone was washed away by the river, and he really needs it right now.
“My sister is spoiled by us at home. She’s too delicate and doesn’t know any manners. I’ll discipline her more in the future and won’t let her bother Lieutenant Colonel Ji anymore.” Mo Yanyu’s eyes swept over the head beside her with a slightly cool gaze, and then fell on Ji Muhan’s face, showing her shrewdness and tact.
The implication is that my sister will stop bothering you, and I hope you can keep your distance from her too!
Mo Qing suddenly raised her head. "Brother, no."
She finally managed to pry open a tiny bit and get a little closer to him.
She would never give up, and she would never leave Ji Muhan.
"Mo Qing." Mo Yanyu narrowed her eyes, silently warning her, "Don't push your luck!"
This was a sign that he was always angry. Normally, Mo Qing would be a wise person and know when to yield, so she would immediately shut up.
"Brother, you're breaking up a loving couple!" Mo Qing not only didn't back down, but instead shouted loudly, looking aggrieved.
Ji Muhan, “…”
Mo Yanyu, "..."
Ji Muhan seemed completely unfazed.
Given her temperament, it was clear that she had already guessed that Hu'ao would say something "horrifying".
"My sister is immature and speaks without thinking. Please don't take her words to heart, Lieutenant Colonel Ji." Mo Yanyu rubbed her forehead, seemingly very familiar with her younger sister's temperament, a hint of helplessness flashing in her eyes.
Ji Muhan responded with a nonchalant "Mm".
He had gotten used to it by now.
"Mo Qing, shut up." Mo Yanyu's eyes were calm, and his handsome and gentle features had become extremely cold. His voice was still unhurried, "If you keep talking nonsense, I will take you back and lock you up in solitary confinement."
"Brother, you go out with Qiao Qian'an first. I'll have a few words with him alone, and then I'll obediently go back with you." Mo Qing's eyes darted around as she tugged at Mo Yanyu and said coquettishly.
"Can I trust you?" Mo Yanyu stared at her with indifferent eyes.
Given his mischievous and disreputable past, the girl's credibility with him was already negative; she had absolutely no trust in him.
"I promise, it'll only be a few words, and then I'll go with you," Mo Qing solemnly promised, raising three fingers.
As for the credibility of those words, only she herself knows for sure…
Mo Yanyu glanced at her indifferently for a while, then suddenly curled her lips and said slowly, "Okay, I'll give you three minutes."
Qiao Qian'an's sharp gaze lingered on Mo Qing's face for a moment. He wanted to stop Mo Yanyu from speaking, but then he remembered that Mo Qing already had a problem with him, and if he said anything more...
So, in the end... he lowered his eyes without saying a word.
The two went up to the third floor one after the other. As soon as Ji Muhan entered the room, Mo Qing peeked in to make sure no one had followed.
He immediately closed the door to the room.
Mo Qing ran quickly to the window, leaned on the windowsill to roughly estimate the distance from the ground, then turned her head to look at Ji Muhan, who was standing motionless in the room, and asked in a panic, "Hanhan, if you jump out of this window, won't you die? Or should we find a place to hide and wait for Mo Yanyu and the other two to go out and look for us before we leave? No, no, we don't know how long we'll have to wait like this, and it wouldn't be worth it if my brother caught us."
Her eyes darted around, and she muttered to herself, "Ah, I wonder if there are any ropes in this room. If there are, we can get down through the window."
She saw in TV dramas that special forces soldiers could use ropes to scale walls and go anywhere.
Ji Muhan calmly watched Mo Qing pace anxiously around the room, her initial confusion turning to understanding, and finally to composure.
