The night finally passed peacefully.

The Shen family decided to stay in their hometown for a week before returning. They hadn't been back for a long time, and everyone missed the forest farms and black soil of Northeast China.

Early in the morning, Shen Jingyan and Gu Zhiyun brought gifts and arrived at the forest farm.

During the years Gu Zhiyun spent as an educated youth, Old Xu and Grandma Xu took great care of him. He was a grateful person and always kept the two elderly people in his heart.

Needless to say, Mr. and Mrs. Xu treated Shen Jingyan like their own granddaughter. Since she rarely came back, they had to come and see the elderly couple.
