Gu Zhiyun had been planning this kiss for most of the day.

At noon, Shen Jingyan cleaned his wounds, and the atmosphere was just right, almost to the point of kissing him, but they were interrupted by Master He and others.

He had been holding a grudge and wanted to find an opportunity to make up for this regret.

Finally, while they were tending the fire, they found an opportunity to be alone together.

His warm lips covered hers again, but this time, unlike the previous light kiss, he pressed harder, consuming her sweetness.

Chen Jingyan felt as if she were basking in warm sunlight, being gently kissed by clouds, and her mouth was filled with a refreshing woody scent.

"How about you two continue, and I'll go outside and wait?" He took a step back. "Well, I can wait. Starving to death is a small matter; finding a partner is a big deal."

Before Gu Zhiyun could even give him a sharp look, he stomped away in his big cotton shoes.

Five minutes later, Shen Jingyan and Gu Zhiyun came in carrying noodles.

The three of them began to eat in silence.

Although none of the three spoke, Shen Jingyan and Gu Zhiyun would occasionally glance at each other, as if they had planned it together, and they looked up at the same frequency.

Yang Zinuo felt unwell, as if his whole body was glowing.

It's still that kind of bright light that's rather annoying.

"I felt a bit bored, so I went to eat near the entrance."

He carried the bowl out of the house.

Shen Jingyan and Gu Zhiyun acted as if they hadn't heard him speak, and he suddenly felt quite superfluous.

Only the two of them remained in the room, and the air became quiet, broken only by the sound of bowls and chopsticks clattering together.

Gu Zhiyun tried to speak several times, but couldn't say anything.

The two finished their noodles in silence.

Shen Jingyan went to the kitchen to wash the dishes and pots. Gu Zhiyun wanted to help, but Yang Zinuo pulled him aside.
