Time ticked by in the reception room, and round, plump little pearls fell around Helian Jue's feet and on his knees.

After a while, Qiao You's sniffling broke the silence.

Qiao Youhui held Helian Jue's hand. He had his brother now, and he could bear any news, no matter what it was.

"Grandma Yu, what brings you here this time..." Qiao You asked. Yu Peiyi must have something more important to do in coming to the capital planet this time. Even the token from back then was handed over by Eleanor.

Yu Peiyi's expression gradually became serious and earnest. "I really do have something important to do this time."

"Your Highness, you have all received the tokens that Miss Eleanor entrusted to you."

"Have you figured out the secret inside now?"

Helian Jue rarely spoke, always listening silently from the side, occasionally asking one or two questions.

"Grandma Yu, do you know what's inside the keepsake?" Qiao You was surprised. When they received the things Eleanor gave them, they didn't know what they meant. It was only later, by chance, that they discovered the secret.

Yu Peiyi shook her head: "The Empress and that Miss Su only said that if we were able to see His Highness, we would give this to you."

Both Qiao You and Helian Jue thought of Su Shu.

Su Shu used the time reversal device to reach ancient Earth, and Yu Peiyi mentioned Miss Su again, this time alongside Wei Luo's name.

"Who is Miss Su?" Qiao You immediately asked.

Yu Peiyi was momentarily taken aback, seemingly not understanding why she was curious about this name. "Miss Su is a friend of His Majesty and the Empress, and is an ancient Earthling."

"The first group of people who transformed from mermaids into humans moved to Blue Water Star on Miss Su's advice and established industries, which were enough to make a living."

Helian Jue memorized almost every word Yu Peiyi said.

Without being interrupted, Yu Peiyi continued her story.

"Back then, when I saw His Highness's live stream on StarNet, I recognized him at a glance." Yu Peiyi said this with a hint of pride.

"The little prince's appearance and tail are so easy to recognize."

"And His Highness the Crown Prince, thankfully Miss Su's description was detailed, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to find him."

"I never expected that the people the Empress and Miss Su asked me to find would actually be together."

Hearing this, Qiao You and Helian Jue were now certain that the Miss Su that Yu Peiyi was talking about was Su Shu.

Yu Peiyi picked up her bag and pulled out two very vintage-looking photos.

Qiao You recognized himself in that photo; it was a picture his mother had taken of him when he turned sixteen.

Another photo shows a few words, a few descriptive words, describing Helian Jue's appearance.

Although it was only a few words, it was clear that it was Helian Jue.

“During the live broadcast when His Highness ascended the throne, I was certain that His Highness was the person I was looking for,” Yu Peiyi said. Her identity as Helian Jue had been confirmed long ago, but she had never had any way to contact him, so she could only suppress her excitement and joy.

Later, Qiao You's appearance and live broadcasts further convinced Yu Peiyi, so she began to search for everyone related to Helian Jue.

That day, Yu Peiyi met Eleanor in her small shop and knew that her opportunity had come.

After clarifying everything that had happened, the topic finally returned to the purpose of Yu Peiyi's visit.

"Your Highness, have you been unable to maintain your human form lately?" Yu Peiyi's question revealed Qiao You's confusion over the past few days.

Upon hearing about Qiao You's health, Helian Jue immediately perked up and sat up straight.

“You’re in heat.” Yu Peiyi looked at Qiao You with eyes full of love and care.

Helian Jue knew more than Qiao You, and quickly recalled the specific three words in his mind.

"Adult mermaids will experience their first estrus cycle within a year of reaching adulthood."

Seeing Qiao You's bewildered expression, Yu Peiyi smiled and reassured him, "Your Highness, this is a normal phenomenon."

"do not be afraid."

"Once your heat cycle is over, Your Highness will no longer be a child."

Qiao You was a little shy, his cheeks flushed. His mother had told him before that he could have children.

"I'm here to keep His Highness company during his heat cycle." Yu Peiyi took a box out of her bag and handed it to Qiao You. "Inside is a pair of rings."

"It is a gift I gave to His Highness and his loved ones."

"You are our little prince of the mermaid clan, someone we will respect and cherish for life," Yu Peiyi said with utmost sincerity. "Although we are no longer mermaids..."

They chose the miracle in order to survive, but they are still mermaids.

After migrating from ancient Earth to interstellar space, the merfolk all changed their surname to "Yu" in order to remember their race.

In order to unite all the merfolk, there is a rule in the tribe that only those who marry within the tribe can use the surname "Yu". If a member of the tribe marries a real human, that person will no longer be allowed to use the surname "Yu".
