"What? There are people on the Insect Planet who haven't been experimented on?" Martin was completely shocked when he received this news!

"Okay, I understand. Bring it back."

In the high mountains of western Insect Planet, two people were discovered on a cliff, a man and a woman. The man was probably in his twenties, and the woman was a little older.

Martin dared not hide it and immediately went to find Adrian.

General Diwei?

Adrian's first thought was General Divi, but who was that man?

Martin frantically searched for his personal terminal. "I'll have them send it over."

Martin's personal computer beeped several times in five minutes.

Adrian's heart leaped into his throat, his eyes fixed on Martin's personal terminal.

Martin felt the immense pressure coming his way, and his hand trembled as he opened his personal terminal.

The three photos were transmitted to Martin's personal computer, but Adrian snatched them away before he could even see a corner of them.

"Hu Chao?"

"How did this person get here?"

The first two photos were of the man who was discovered. Adrian and the others knew this man. General Divi asked him to deliver the photos. But wasn't this man living peacefully on Herka Star?

How did he manage to get to the insect planet all by himself?

With a swipe of his right hand to the side, a photograph came into Adrian's view.

“It’s General Divi! It’s her!” The moment Adrian saw the photo, he recognized her. It must be General Divi; he had seen her many years ago.

Adrian's eyes welled up with tears. "Quick! Have someone bring them both back safely."

"Yes." Martin responded and turned to leave. But as he reached the door, he turned back and said, "Boss, perhaps General Deeway is unaware of what happened back then. We... shouldn't have too much hope."

Adrian silently relaxed his clenched fist. "Yeah, I know."

Martin then left with a sense of relief. The eldest son had a knot in his heart, still troubled by his father's death from depression. He wanted to know the truth about what happened back then more than anyone else.

That night, just before the sun disappeared, the census team returned to the Insect Planet Administration with the two newly discovered personnel.

Adrian, along with Martin and Noel, waited on the first floor, watching the small spaceship.

Hu Chao and General Diwei descended the spaceship's gangway hand in hand, while Adrian stood upright, staring intently at the gangway.

Martin naturally stepped forward to speak with the census team and recounted the entire process of discovering the two men.

Hu Chao whispered something in Diwei's ear, and Diwei looked over at Adrian.

The two slowly approached Adrian, and the distance between the two groups gradually closed.

"Hello, Mr. Adrian."

"Aunt Diwei, how are you?"

Adrian and Hu Chao spoke at the same time—this damned and inexplicable tacit understanding.

"Child, you've grown so much in the blink of an eye." General Diwei has a gentle appearance. Judging from her appearance alone, she doesn't look like a former general of the Alliance. When she speaks, the corners of her mouth turn up slightly, as if she is smiling, making people unconsciously want to get closer.

Just those words brought tears to Adrian's eyes. "Auntie, you..."

General Diwei reached out and patted Adrian's hand. "Child, what do you want to know? Let's go inside and talk."

Adrian then realized that they were standing at the door, surrounded by a large crowd looking in their direction.

Martin immediately smoothed things over, saying, "Come on, let's go inside and talk."

Hu Chao and Diwei had been hiding on that cliff for over a month, and they were both in a sorry state. Now Adrian had calmed down, and even if he had any questions, there was no need to rush into them.

So they arranged accommodations for the two of them and let them wash up and rest first.

Martin glanced at Adrian's slightly melancholy figure as he walked away, then quickly followed.

"Boss, how did Hu Chao manage to sneak away from Herka to the Insect Planet?" Martin asked suspiciously. "How did he manage to evade the Alliance's scrutiny?"

For the first time ever, Adrian lit a cigarette, but didn't smoke it; he just held it between his fingers.

“We’ll find out when we ask later…” Adrian said absentmindedly, “No.”

"First, we need to figure out how Hu Chao sneaked in. If there are any loopholes, we can take preventative measures in advance."

"What if the alliance finds a passage..."

Although the alliance is not making any overt moves right now, they have to be on guard.

Martin was relieved; his boss was still the same wise and powerful leader!

The following day, after a night's rest, Hu Chao and Diwei were in much better spirits.

The group gathered in the council hall. Last night, Adrian hadn't thought much of it, but seeing Diwei and Hu Chao getting along now, a deep sense of doubt settled over him.

These two should theoretically be just a sponsor and a recipient, but now...

Adrian's gaze happened to meet General Divi's, whose wise eyes seemed to read Adrian's heart through his skin.

“Child, I know what you want to know,” General Diwei said, dressed casually with his chestnut-brown hair cascading down, adding a touch of gentleness and tenderness to his appearance.

Hu Chao sat down next to Di Wei with a stern face, covering her lap with a blanket, adding a touch of ambiguity and intimacy to the atmosphere between them.

"Back then, Dax Wayne was put on the throne by the Wayne family and became the league's commander."

"After that, we veteran officials were sent away or dismissed for various reasons."

"Your father and I have some influence in the public eye because we've won a few games in the league. Dax Wayne will have to think twice before he makes a move."
