Su Wan turned around to look at the person who had come.

They were a group of men dressed in black riding tall horses.

Their sudden appearance in Linyuan Village immediately put the villagers on high alert.

Everyone assumed that the Western Rong people had come to plunder again, and some people even went home and took out their weapons.

The leader approached and scanned Wei Jingzhuo's face before suddenly pulling back the thin blanket covering him.

The leader glanced at Wei Jingzhuo again, noting that he did indeed look very different from the deposed crown prince.

The man looked at her and chuckled, his narrow, almond-shaped eyes carrying a dangerous glint.

"Really? Should I call them back and tell them..." He suddenly leaned closer to her, his voice languid, "Who exactly lives inside?"

Her hand, which was about to grab it, paused. She suddenly looked up at him and asked, "What do you mean?"

Trying to outsmart her?

Is Su Wan so easily fooled?

Whether what he said is true or not, she will not admit it!

Looking at Su Wan's indifferent expression, the man gradually wiped the smile from his lips: "Tell me, what do you think would happen if I told those people that your husband is the person they're looking for?"

Upon hearing this, Su Wan's expression immediately turned serious, and she looked at the man in front of her warily.
