The caravan was temporarily established, but its continued operation would require another month to observe. After completing these tasks, Martin, along with his three guards, Eric, Lucas, and William, headed towards the Luoqiu Mountains, hoping to find some valuable items.
As soon as they stepped into the Luoqiu Mountains, the fresh scent of grass and trees hit them in the face, but Martin and others had no intention of appreciating the natural beauty and went straight into the depths of the mountains.
After walking for a while, they were pleasantly surprised to discover a Grade B medicinal herb near a waterfall. Just as Martin was about to get closer to inspect it, a giant python covered in black stripes suddenly burst out from the grass. Judging from its powerful and oppressive aura, it must be a Grade B monster.
Without hesitation, Martin ordered his guard, Eric, "Eric, go and take care of that giant python." Eric's lips curled up slightly at the command, revealing a confident smile. He flashed, his sword gleaming with a cold gleam. In just a few strikes, he slew the giant python. Martin nodded with satisfaction and ordered, "Put the giant python and the herbs away for now. We'll examine them more closely when we get back."
The group continued to move deeper, their steps increasing the strength of the surrounding beasts. They occasionally encountered wildlings and orcs along the way, but Martin, focused on obtaining the beasts and medicinal herbs, ignored them and simply killed their way through. With the exception of Martin, the other three possessed Gold-level strength, and with their immense power, they rampaged through the area, reaping a rich harvest.
Unconsciously, the sky gradually darkened, and the afterglow of the setting sun sprinkled on the mountains and forests, as if covering the mountains and forests with a layer of golden gauze.
Martin looked up at the sky and thought, "Let's stop here for today. We're almost deep into the Luoqiu Mountains. We'd better go back soon. If we go any deeper, we might attract some powerful guys and it will be troublesome."
But fate always seems to like to play tricks on people. What you fear will inevitably come true. Just as the three people led by Eric had just killed a gold-level monster and were about to put it into the space ring, a deafening beast roar came from the depths of the forest.
The beast's roar seemed to carry endless majesty and oppression. Eric and the other two turned pale in an instant, stopped what they were doing, and their eyes were filled with fear.
Without time to recapture the beast, they quickly turned, each carrying Martin, and rushed with all their might out of the mountains. As they ran, they continuously unleashed their knightly powers to help Martin withstand the tearing sensation caused by his excessive speed. They didn't dare to pause for a moment, running without looking back until they were out of the Luoqiu Mountains.
When they returned to the town, Eric and the other two were still in shock, breathing heavily, with expressions of fear still on their faces. Martin saw this and asked hurriedly, "What happened?"
Eric gathered himself together and said in a trembling voice, "Master, we might have encountered an S-class monster. That beast's roar drilled into my ears, and I was terrified. I guess that feeling of fear can only be brought by an S-class monster."
Hearing this answer, Martin couldn't help but feel a little scared, thinking to himself: It seems that I can't go to Luoqiu Mountains in the short term.
