"Your Majesty, Your Majesty, are you listening?"
Martin, recovering his composure, interrupted Malcador. "Malcador, listen carefully now. I don't care what means you use. You must find all those involved in this. Once you find them, you will execute them all. You must use the most severe punishment. Do you understand?"
Malcador, on the other end of the line, quickly expressed his understanding, then added with concern, "But Your Majesty, your health..."
"Don't worry, Malcador. You only need to complete the task I assign you. You don't need to worry about anything else."
Hearing His Majesty's words, Malcador's worries were slightly alleviated.
Afterwards, he listened to His Majesty's instructions for a few more words before hanging up the phone.
Martin, suppressing his inner anger, apologized to Xingchen, "Xingchen, I'm so sorry. I wanted to spend more time with you, but plans didn't work out that fast. Go back and rest. I have some urgent matters to attend to."
Xingchen nodded slightly, his eyes full of worry, and asked, "Your Majesty, are you okay?"
"Xingchen, don't you know how my physical condition is?" Martin said, looking at her with a sly smile.
Xingchen's face flushed slightly, but he was also sure that Martin was not seriously injured.
So she said goodbye to Martin and turned to leave.
Martin, who had just been looking at Xingchen's back with a smile, suddenly turned extremely gloomy the moment the figure disappeared.
Immediately, Martin contacted the Minister of Intelligence in his mind: "Yute, come to see me in the Imperial Study immediately!"
His tone was extremely unfriendly, and every word seemed to be squeezed out from between clenched teeth, suppressing the anger that was about to explode.
Before the other party could respond, Martin cut off the connection.
Yute from the intelligence department was full of doubts at the moment. He had no idea why His Majesty suddenly got so angry, but he had a vague feeling in his heart that he might be in trouble.
Just then, his subordinates came to report.
He was feeling very annoyed and was about to yell at his men to leave, but one of his men's words instantly made him understand the reason for his Majesty's anger.
"Minister, this is a detailed report of Lord Malcador's actions. It contains important matters concerning His Majesty and requires your personal review."
Seeing his subordinates insisting, Minister Yute remembered the unquestionable order of His Majesty, so he hurriedly took the report and quickly read it.
Soon, Yute's eyes fixed on the content about His Majesty being poisoned. He suddenly realized it and broke out in a cold sweat.
