Lu Ze picked up Yu Yao, Zhao Shengli carried Wu Huaiqing on his back, and Song Yiming led the fire-starter; the group quickly headed to the factory's clinic.

Yu Yao shook her head and looked around. "How is my brother?"

Lu Ze put the enamel mug on the cabinet. "He woke up half an hour earlier than you. Someone came looking for him just now, and he went out."

Yu Yao shook her head and reached out her hand to Lu Ze, "I want a hug."

Lu Ze hugged her, kissed her forehead, and asked gently, "Are you feeling better? Is there anything else that's bothering you?"

"It's much better than before."

Yu Yao nestled in his arms, the familiar sound of his heartbeat in her ear, and his scent filling her nostrils. Only then did she truly feel a sense of peace and reassurance, as if she had come back to life.
