Lu Ze had already washed up and was lying in bed.

Yu Yao leaned closer to him.

"Because the baby was brought in in time, the baby was saved. However, Sister-in-law Yufeng lost too much blood and has not yet woken up. Battalion Commander Wu is taking care of her at the hospital."

Sometimes when she and Lu Ze weren't back, if Sister Song saw that it was going to rain, she would help them bring in the clothes and dried goods that were drying in the yard.

The next morning, Lu Ze took her to the factory in a bicycle he had borrowed from Sister Meihua's family.

Fang Qiaoqiao was seen wrestling with a female comrade, her neatly tied princess braid coming undone.

"What are you doing! Let them go right now! You, and you, what are you standing there for? Pull them apart!" Zhao Shengli directed two nearby women to help.

Fearing that Fang Qiaoqiao might get hurt, Yu Yao stepped forward to help protect her.

When Fang Qiaoqiao was pulled away, she was still yelling at the other side, "I'll teach you to talk nonsense, I'll tear your mouth apart."

Feng Yanyan was tugged around a few times, leaving her with scratches on her neck and face. Her carefully made-up image was ruined, and she was so angry that her eyes turned red.

Seeing Yu Yao approaching triggered a surge of resentment and anger within him.

"When did I talk nonsense? I'm just stating the facts. Didn't Yu Yao come here? You all should ask her and see if I'm lying!"

Someone nearby asked, "Yu Yao, is your relationship with Manager Wu Huaiqing from the main factory just ordinary?"
