The next day, Ni Sitian woke up in Xu Tingchuan's arms, a slight smile curving her lips. She wrapped her arms around his waist, leaning against his chest, feeling exceptionally sweet.

Xu Tingchuan also woke up, but his eyes were still closed. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, kissed her on the head, and asked in a lazy, husky voice, "Did you sleep well last night?"

"Mmm," Ni Sitian responded softly, then asked, "And you?"

"You slept very well." Xu Tingchuan stroked her long hair and said with a gentle smile, "You had sweet dreams."

"What kind of dream?" Ni Sitian looked up at him.

Xu Tingchuan opened his eyes slightly, looked down at her, and ran the back of his hand across her cheek. He smiled faintly and said, "I dreamt that we had a whole litter of children, enough to form a football team."

"Get lost, do you think I'm a sow?" Ni Sitian playfully punched him.

Xu Tingchuan chuckled softly, still immersed in the joy of his sweet dream.

Ni Sitian couldn't help but smile. Actually, she also had a good dream, in which they were old and gray, still leaning on each other.

The two remained silent, embracing each other quietly.

After a while, Ni Sitian looked up at the alarm clock and gently poked Xu Tingchuan with her fingertip, "Get up, you're going to be late for work."

Xu Tingchuan was a little reluctant to let go of her, "Let me hug you a little longer."

Ni Sitian chuckled silently; he was surprisingly clingy.

After dragging it out until nine o'clock, he had no choice but to get up; he had a meeting at ten o'clock today.

The two let go of each other, lifted the covers, got out of bed, and walked together to the bathroom.

They brushed their teeth side by side in front of the mirror, glancing at each other every now and then, their movements perfectly synchronized, creating a harmonious and sweet atmosphere.

After breakfast, Xu Tingchuan changed into formal attire, put on his coat, and prepared to go out.

Ni Sitian stood in the entryway, watching him change his shoes.

Xu Tingchuan changed his shoes and looked up at her.

Ni Sitian approached, raised her hand, straightened his tie and collar, gently smoothed them, and looked up at him with a big smile, "Okay, you look handsome now, you can go out."

"There's still one thing I haven't done." Xu Tingchuan looked down at her with a slight smile in his eyes.

"Hmm? Did you leave something behind?" Ni Sitian asked, puzzled.

Xu Tingchuan supported her waist, lowered his head and pressed his lips to hers, giving her a long, passionate kiss.

He released her after about a minute, and said with a faint smile, "Then I'll go to work."

Ni Sitian, her breathing slightly ragged, nodded. "Come back soon."

Xu Tingchuan rubbed her head, then turned and opened the door.

Ni Sitian couldn't help but walk him a few more steps, escorting him to the elevator entrance and watching the elevator doors slowly close.

She slowly lowered her waving hand and went back inside.

The warmth of his lips seemed to still linger on hers; she smiled slightly and touched her lips with a silly grin.

After a moment of reverie, she came to her senses, went into the small study, and began to busy herself with her own affairs.

Around noon, Xu Tingchuan called.

When she saw the caller ID, the corners of her mouth involuntarily curved into a smile. She swiped to answer, her voice barely concealing her delight: "Hello?"

"Mrs. Xu, do you have time to have lunch with Mr. Xu?" Xu Ting asked, flipping through documents in his hand while making the call.

"Mr. Xu, are you asking me out? I'm very busy, you know." Ni Sitian stopped typing, stood up, walked to the bedroom, opened the wardrobe, and rummaged through her clothes.

She hadn't even worn the orange-red coat yet; she took it off immediately and then chose an inner layer to wear.

Hearing the sound of her opening the wardrobe and choosing clothes on the other end of the line, Xu Tingchuan suppressed a laugh and said, "But I miss you."
