When a terrifying countdown engulfs the globe, the game named "Divine Court Technology" descends upon the world. Su Deng, who yearns only for death and has inexplicably gained a son from th...
Su Deng blinked slightly, her feet moving forward almost imperceptibly. "Why were you locked up in a mental hospital?"
"They said I have a split personality, so they arrested me and locked me up here." Yan Sizhan pouted and said aggrievedly, "They pricked me with needles to do experiments. I kept saying that I wasn't crazy, but they didn't believe me and wouldn't let me out."
He was completely different from before, now vivid and lively, with sword-like eyebrows and bright eyes, like a spirited and innocent young man.
Could it be that he really has a split personality, and is controlled by that button?
Or is it that there are several parallel worlds in different dimensions?
After all, this is a game world, anything is possible.
Su Deng opened the door discreetly and walked inside the fence. "You're not very strong, why don't you escape?"
Yan Sizhan moved his foot, causing the two chains to rattle. "They've locked me up, and I can't untie them."
During the day, Yan Sizhan possessed devastating attack power; he wouldn't be unable to break even these two chains.
However, it might just be part of the game's design.
After all, it's a dungeon boss.
As Su Deng approached, Yan Sizhan, with his dark green hair and star-like eyes, scrutinized her face, frowning as he thought, "I feel like I've really seen you somewhere before..."
But no matter how hard he racked his brains, he couldn't remember.
It just felt familiar and comforting.
"Perhaps we've met in a past life." Su Deng smiled faintly, her hand gripping the dagger behind her back tightening.
“No.” Yan Sizhan shook his head, staring intently at the approaching Su Deng. “Where exactly is it… uh…”
He was deep in thought when, before he could finish speaking, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest.
He stiffly lowered his head and saw a dagger inserted into his heart.
The hilt of the dagger was held in the hand of the girl in front of him.
There was no bleeding from the wound; instead, it shimmered with a faint light.
He looked up at Su Deng, incredulous, "You killed me..."
Su Deng released the dagger and stepped back, watching the increasingly large orb of light at his chest without saying a word.
Yan Sizhan tried to reach out and grab her, but she began to dissipate from the dagger in her heart, spreading outwards at a visible speed.
Soon, the person turned into specks of light and disappeared from the room, and the two items fell to the ground with a "thud".
It's a dagger, just like any other.
The other item was an earring made of white pearls and blue feathers.
Su Muye then ran in, "Mom!"
What happened just now looked simple, but Su Deng's back was already soaked with sweat, and he collapsed to the ground as if all his strength had left him.
She never expected that she would actually succeed in killing this person.
Could such a dissipation pattern lead to reorganization in the same way?
After all, this is a game, and anything is possible in a game.
It's not time to let our guard down yet.
Su Deng took a deep breath, stood up, and walked forward to pick up the dagger. The moment her fingertips touched the pearl and feather earring, the earring flashed and disappeared into thin air.
Su Deng didn't hesitate for long before leading Su Muye out of the ward to check on him.
Everything was still the same; nothing seemed to have changed outside, except that the frantic screams from the surrounding wards had decreased considerably.
It's much quieter downstairs now.
The hallway rules remain unchanged.
Can we go out now?
Su Deng pursed her lips, took out the key from the downstairs door, and went downstairs.
Seeing the zombies still wandering around outside the door downstairs, and then swarming towards them after the two appeared, Su Muye was so frightened that he grabbed Su Deng and hid behind her.
These people are still not awake and cannot get out.
Is there still a mystery to solve?
Su Deng pondered, her gaze falling on ward number one in the building.
She walked over.
Su Muyue followed behind her, holding the light for her, being extremely obedient.
Su Deng looked through each ward, but all the doors were locked, so she couldn't see or hear anything inside.
Only a few could be heard crying out in pain.
But the door wouldn't open, and there was no response when I knocked.
I walked all the way back to the office and didn't see any other players.
The downstairs door is locked. Where could Cui Qu and Han Zhi have gone?
Seeing her looking worried and remaining silent, Su Muyue asked with concern, "Mom, are you alright?"
"No." Su Deng shook her head.
The rules haven't changed, and there are no new clues.
There was no way upstairs, and nothing to distract the people downstairs.
Su Deng's gaze fell on the button behind the door. Did she have to press it again?
Half an hour later, at six o'clock.
As the sky outside gradually brightened, the dim lights turned off one by one.
Su Deng pressed the blue button.
There was no sound either.
But the office furnishings suddenly changed.
Su Muye's eyes widened. "This is what the office looked like when I came here to find the chocolate!"
The two buttons on the wall behind the door are gone, replaced by two stickers.
The rules in the hallways have also become special rules for the intensive care unit.
It's exactly the same as before.
Ward 18 remained intact and did not recover its collapsed state.
It was all part of the game's setting, so Su Deng was shocked when she arrived at the door.
The door to ward number 18 was open.
Su Deng went inside to check, and sure enough, the medical records on the wall were still there, but there was no one inside the curtain.
Did she really kill that mentally ill king?
The corridor railings have a mesh screen, so you can't see down from above, but the whole hospital is eerily quiet.
Su Muyue tugged at Su Deng's clothes, "Mom, we won't be trapped here, will we?"
He didn't want to become mentally ill, nor did he want his mother to die here.
Su Deng paused for a moment, then went downstairs again.
