When a terrifying countdown engulfs the globe, the game named "Divine Court Technology" descends upon the world. Su Deng, who yearns only for death and has inexplicably gained a son from th...
Jia Lele's voice continued, sometimes near, sometimes far, sometimes loud, sometimes soft.
Su Deng wasn't in a hurry. She just followed the path and walked forward, turning at every corner she encountered, and turning back when she reached the end of the road.
The whole process was as leisurely and relaxed as strolling through a garden.
All the images reflected by the mirror were consistent with all her movements, and there was nothing unusual except for the fogged-up glasses.
But Su Deng was certain that the reflection in the mirror was not herself.
None of them are themselves.
From the outside, the maze doesn't look very big, but once you walk through it, it seems endless and you can't go on forever.
Su Deng maintained her resolve to remain still while the enemy did not move, continuing her search for Jia Lele, occasionally responding with a word.
"Su Deng, I'm here..."
The sound grew closer and closer, as if it were right next to my ear.
There was no one around.
We didn't find any safe houses here either.
Su Deng frowned and said, "Tap the mirror again."
“Bang, bang—”
The mirror made a slapping sound coming from behind at an angle.
Holding the torch, Su Deng turned back and followed the sound.
I turned the corner, but still didn't see anyone.
"Bang bang bang—"
"Su Deng, I'm knocking, can you hear me? We're surrounded by mirrors, we can't get out... This place is so scary..."
"Su Deng, where are you...?"
"Hurry up, Zhou Ming is going to die..."
After shouting for half a day, Jia Lele's voice was a little hoarse.
Indeed, it's right here.
Even if the maze is incredibly winding, you should run into it by now.
But all I could hear were sounds lingering around me; I couldn't see anyone.
Su Deng turned her head, her cold eyes meeting her reflection in the mirror, and a very bold and terrifying idea flashed through her mind.
Verification required.
Su Deng squatted down and listened to the mirror for a while.
About a minute later, she stood up and stepped back, standing in the middle of the passageway. Looking at the bloody mask with its gaping maw on her face in the mirror, she suddenly reached out to remove it.
I tried to pick it, but couldn't.
Even after the rope was untied, the mask didn't fall off; it looked like it was stuck to my face.
She frowned, pulled hard, and finally ripped it off, her face aching from the effort.
Sometime during the process, some mucus appeared inside the mask.
It's a bit disgusting.
The reflection of Su Deng in the mirror was doing the same thing as her.
Su Deng threw away the mask in her hand, stared at herself in the mirror for a while, and said, "You don't need to pretend anymore."
The mouth of Su Deng in the mirror opened and closed just like hers, saying the same words.
Su Deng wasn't in a hurry; she just watched her and waited patiently.
She didn't know how much time had passed; so long that Su Deng thought time had stood still.
Suddenly, the mirrors around the room rippled like water.
All the Suzhou lamps reflected in the mirror were distorted.
Su Deng slightly flipped her hand, and a dagger appeared. Without any hesitation, she gripped it and stabbed it towards the mirror in front of her!
But she missed her target, and the momentum caused her to stagger forward, actually passing right through the mirror!
And all around were still mirrors!
The only difference is that, apart from the mirror that comes in directly from the front, none of the other mirrors have a reflection.
It really is a mirror monster, creating a world of mirrors!
Outside the mirror, and inside the mirror...
Su Deng gripped the dagger and stabbed at the mirror again.
But this time, it was blocked by an invisible force.
"Humans!"
A rough, hoarse voice rang out, and a ferocious smile appeared on Su Deng's stunning face in the mirror, "Since you've discovered me, I'll be trapped here forever, until I become a monster..."
"Waaah!"
Before she could finish speaking, a dark shadow suddenly darted out from the side and pounced on her, tearing at her frantically.
It was a four-legged little monster, resembling both a wolf and a rabbit, baring its teeth and desperately biting at Su Deng's reflection in the mirror.
But being too small and lacking the strength, he was kicked away by Su Deng in the mirror, crashing into the mirror in front of Su Deng and falling to the ground. His green eyes looked at the mirror, and after groaning in pain a few times, he struggled to get up and pounced on Su Deng in the mirror again.
He had a sword wound on his hind leg, and it was bleeding.
It's that monster from not long ago, the one who was following us and got slashed by her!
Su Deng recognized him instantly.
Whether it was a trick of the eye or not, Su Deng had just seen sadness and determination in the little monster's eyes...
Was he lunging at the monster to save her?
Perhaps it's just my imagination!
Su Deng gritted her teeth and smashed the mirror with all her might, but it seemed that this was the real mirror, and the monster that imitated her was outside the mirror.
"Su Deng...can you hear me...?"
"Su Deng, where are you...?"
"Could it be another monster in disguise...?"
"I told you not to come here..."
Jia Lele's voice never stopped, and it became even clearer after Su Deng was sucked into the mirror, as if she couldn't feel the commotion from before.
Su Deng glanced at the two monsters tearing at each other in the mirror, then turned around, holding the torch, and walked towards the source of the sound.
This time, she only turned two corners before she saw the person on the ground.
Jia Lele knelt on the ground, a boy lying in her arms, and she kept banging on the glass while screaming.
Startled by the sudden appearance of the person, she flinched, but upon recognizing Su Deng, she instantly scrambled over as if she had seen a savior.
"Su Deng, is that really you!"
"You're not dead yet!"
"Save us! Save Zhou Ming..."
She also had injuries on her body, on her arm, as if she had been scratched by something. She clung tightly to Su Deng, pleading bitterly.
