Wang Tianxiao is reborn thirty years ago, the day before his eldest son's birth.
In temperatures below minus twenty degrees, his heavily pregnant wife clutches their three-year-old daught...
Wang Tianxiao continued, "Our Qingcheng has about two million people. If we let one percent of them drink our goat milk, that's 20,000 jin a day. If one person out of a thousand drinks it, that's still 2,000 jin consumed."
As I said before, even if I increase the number of sheep to five hundred, they will only produce about two thousand catties of milk per day.
So you see, this goal isn't actually that difficult, right? You know, many brands have market share of several tens of percent, while we only need a fraction of a percent. With dedication, we can definitely achieve this goal.
Another glass of wine down the drain.
"The next problem we need to solve is how to store fresh milk. If we continue with the current model, the milk produced each day can only be consumed on the same day, or at the latest the next day. Otherwise, we will inevitably have to throw it away because it is not fresh enough."
"Then why don't we start from this point? We can investigate the latest preservation methods. Even if they can only keep the milk for a month, let alone a year or two, we can transport it to neighboring counties and cities, which would greatly expand the market..."
Wang Tianxiao stopped there.
The two of them were clearly a bit dazed.
It's probably because there's so much information tangled up in my head that my CPU is about to overheat.
"Brother-in-law... I roughly understand what you mean, but the problem is, there are so many things we don't know how to do."
"Yes, even if we knew how, we wouldn't be able to handle it all. How much can the two of us do?"
Li Guanping and Mi Xiaoqing finally managed to restart.
"Yes, I've thought of that too. Here's what we'll do: draft a recruitment notice and hire ten fresh milk promotion staff for now. Their only task is to go door-to-door promoting fresh milk. They'll have a base salary of fifty yuan per month, and their final salary will be settled at the end of the month based on the fresh milk orders they receive."
As for preservation, I'll figure that out. It might involve designing packaging bags or boxes, and I'll also need to investigate packaging techniques. I don't know the specifics of that right now, so I'll have to look around and see what happens later.
Before we knew it, it was already quite late, and we hadn't actually eaten much of the hot pot.
Seeing that the old lady who had set up her stall was about to pack up, Wang Tianxiao said, "Let's call it a day." The three of them quickly ate some food and then left.
The young couple continued back to the shop, where they would stay.
Wang Tianxiao rushed back to the station overnight.
.
Over the next ten days or so, Wang Tianxiao mainly did two things.
One is to continue to follow the plan and strategically position the medicinal herb fields in various locations.
He specifically reserved the southernmost six or seven hundred acres of mountain land for planting dandelions and artemisia capillaris.
Through this year's trials, it has been found that these two herbs have relatively low requirements for the natural environment and can basically be grown in any type of land.
And she's also quite good-looking.
It has an extremely docile temperament.
Since that's the case, we might as well just send them to even more remote locations to maintain basic living conditions.
Based on this year's harvest, one mu (unit of land area) can yield about 100 jin (unit of weight), so 700 mu would yield 70,000 jin, and an income of over 100,000 yuan is quite achievable.
Besides these two types, the remaining mountainous areas are roughly divided into two large sections and more than thirty smaller sections.
The two main parts are separated into dry and wet categories.
Although, relatively speaking, most of the medicinal herbs that can survive in the Ziwu Ridge prefer drought and do not require as much water as typical herbs in the south.
However, even in dry environments, there are two types: those that particularly like dryness and those that are relatively dry.
Many herbs depend heavily on a stable environment for growth. If the requirements are not met, the resulting herbs may not have the same effects, or may not even be the same herbs at all.
For example, Angelica sinensis is a low-temperature, long-day crop that thrives in cool, cold climates and can be cultivated at altitudes of around 2,000 to 3,000 meters.
Its seedlings prefer shade and are very afraid of sun exposure, but once they mature, they love sunlight. They need to be planted in deep, loose, well-drained, fertile sandy loam rich in humus. They should not be planted in low-lying, waterlogged, or easily compacted clay or barren sandy soil.
Therefore, when planting angelica, multiple factors must be considered simultaneously. It cannot be planted on the south-facing slopes where the sunlight is very strong, otherwise the seedlings will not be able to grow normally.
However, it should not be planted on the shady northern slopes, otherwise, the angelica will have difficulty growing into a mature plant due to insufficient sunlight.
Similarly, because it prefers loose, thick sandy soil, it should be planted on high slopes as much as possible, and not in low-lying areas, as these areas are prone to water accumulation and are basically impossible to cultivate properly.
For example, Astragalus membranaceus.
This herb thrives in shady conditions and is quite delicate, so it is usually planted near bushes or low trees to provide it with a protective cover.
If you leave them exposed to the elements without any protection, it will be quite difficult to manage them. Let alone grow them into mature plants, their very survival will be a problem.
However, Astragalus membranaceus, which has a similar name, prefers cool climates, is cold- and drought-resistant, and has relatively less demanding requirements for cultivation.
Therefore, Astragalus membranaceus is basically unique to Gansu Province. At most, it can be found in some areas where Sichuan and Gansu provinces meet, but it cannot be seen elsewhere.
Astragalus is found in many parts of China, including the Northeast, Northwest, and North China.
For example, the well-known Isatis root is a kind of herb that is not too demanding in terms of natural conditions. It can be planted in most places, as long as it is not waterlogged, and can yield a good harvest.
In the early stages, while others were harvesting Artemisia capillaris and dandelions, Wang Tianxiao personally took a notebook and pen, drew maps, and carefully marked all the soil types, surrounding environment, water supply and sunlight exposure, seasonal wind effects, and so on in all the mountainous areas.
