Leng Fengmei blushed slightly, but still greeted him generously as "Uncle Zhou!"

Zhou Zhan quickly came over and took the woman's other hand. "Dad, Amei is tired. I'm going to take her to rest!" A smile crept onto his face.

"This brat, I've never seen him care about us like this before?" he said, smiling as he looked at the group.

"Dad, look at what you're saying. Bringing such a wonderful daughter-in-law back to you is the greatest way I can show my filial piety!" Zhou Zhan said, looking at the little woman with eyes full of doting affection.

"My silly son is heartless and doesn't understand anything except training!" He said, looking at Leng Fengmei, "You'll have to put in a lot more effort in the future!"

"Uncle Zhou, you're overthinking it. Zhou Zhan's pure heart is something others can't match. Besides, Zhan is also exceptionally talented and handsome. He's a rare and wonderful man!" Leng Fengmei's voice was clear and her attitude sincere.

Zhou Jianye saw his silly son grinning from ear to ear!

"Haha, only you would praise him like that! Alright, I won't keep you any longer, go and rest. If you need anything, just tell your uncle!" He then gestured for his guards to lead the way.

"Thank you, Uncle Zhou!" Leng Fengmei had barely finished speaking when Zhou Zhan pulled her away. "No need for thanks, we're all family!"

Zhou Jianye looked at his three sons and shook his head helplessly.

Looking at his subordinates, who were all smiling with their eyes lowered, Zhou Jianye said loudly, "If any of you can resolve today's crisis, I will gladly step down and give way to a more capable person!"

"Commander Zhou, you flatter me. Commander Leng is not only outstanding in appearance, but also unmatched in ability. Don't even mention your son being tempted, even if I were decades younger, I would want to compete for her! Haha..." The two quickly went to the next room, which was a suite with one large bedroom and two smaller bedrooms, which seemed to be a deliberate arrangement!

Jia Renyi looked at Zhou Zhan with a puzzled expression, "What is it?"

Zhou Zhan, his face full of anger, still lowered his voice and said, "Luo Hongxing is after Amei!"

"How could this be?" Jia Renyi's eyes widened in shock at this sudden surprise.

Zhou Zhan glanced at him helplessly and said, "Last time, Amei got drunk at his place, and that bastard somehow messed with Amei's Heart-Testing Stone!" As he spoke, he felt a pang of sadness, "I wonder what he was dreaming about? He insisted that Amei take responsibility."

Jia Renyi frowned upon hearing this, and after thinking for a moment, he asked anxiously, "What did Amei say?"

“Amei only said she would give him an explanation!” Zhou Zhan scratched his head in frustration. “And when I first got there, he was still kissing Amei,” he said, watching Jia Renyi’s face grow increasingly dark, “Amei was unconscious and had no idea what was happening!”

Jia Renyi's expression softened a bit. "Luo Hongxing doesn't seem like a lecherous man. What exactly did he dream about?"

"I don't know, I was crying my heart out while holding Amei!" she said, looking at Jia Renyi with a resentful expression. "Do you think Amei might..."

"No, impossible! I won't let Amei have anyone else!" Jia Renyi said, his voice trembling slightly.

"I'm going to stay with Amei tonight, you're not allowed to come over!" Jia Renyi said firmly.

"No, you slept with my wife in my house, and you still have the nerve to say that!" Zhou Zhan was so angry that his eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

Jia Renyi glanced at him. "What nonsense are you talking about? Can't you see how upset Amei is? What can I do?"

Seeing Zhou Zhan's "you're kidding me" expression, Jia Renyi scoffed, "Do you really want the three of you to share a bed?"

"Who are you trying to disgust?" Zhou Zhan glared at him. "Fine, you better appease Amei! Otherwise, you can just watch me eat her up from now on!" With that, he stormed out.

Watching Zhou Zhan leave, Jia Renyi revealed a smug look on his face. "An idiot is an idiot!" he said as he went to wash up, his eyes full of smiles.

When Leng Fengmei came out, she saw the dinner that Zhou Zhan had prepared. A simple vegetarian meal was laid out on the table, but everything was exquisite. Even the tofu was cut into the shape of a peony.

"Amei, eat something so you can sleep better later!" Zhou Zhan said as he set out the food.

Seeing the man's meticulous care, she couldn't bear to refuse his kindness. "Let's eat together!"

"Okay!" Zhou Zhan smiled and served the woman porridge. "Amei, try this bird's nest and lotus seed porridge. It's said to be good for beauty and health!" As he spoke, he looked at the woman's delicate cheeks, wanting to take a bite!
