Wang Chao finally saw his home and excitedly said, "Sister, that's it!" He then pointed to a manor in the distance.

Leng Fengmei was surprised to find that the scenery here was even more magnificent than she had imagined, with pavilions, towers, artificial hills, and babbling springs. She never expected that there could be such a beautiful view here!

Leng Fengmei looked at the buildings here and saw that every single one of them was exquisite. "Your house is really grand, it's like a palace!"

Wang Xiao was stunned for a moment, not expecting that the person who saved his brother was a young girl. "Hello, thank you for saving my brother!" He quickly invited her inside to sit down and waved to his men, "You can all leave now!"

Wang Chao smiled at the two of them and said, "You two chat first, I'll go call my mother." He thought to himself that only women could talk to each other.

Wang Xiao looked at the young woman, who, despite her young age, appeared calm and composed. "Commander Leng, how did you meet my brother?" he asked, pouring her a glass of water.

"When cleaning up the remnants of the war!" Leng Fengmei said calmly, taking a small sip.

"After the war, you mean you had a conflict with those barbarians?" Wang Xiao asked, puzzled.

"Hmm!" After thinking for a moment, she added, "It's rare that you've lived here for so long without being affected!"

Hearing the woman say this, Wang Xiao sighed deeply, "Because we've all united, they can't do anything to us. But recently we've been frequently provoked, which is why Xiao Chao was unexpectedly arrested!"

Just then, a middle-aged man's voice came in, "Who saved my son? Where is my benefactor?"

A slightly overweight man with a stubble on his face hurried in. He paused for a second on Leng Fengmei's face before looking at his wife and children. "Who saved our son? Where is our benefactor?"

Mrs. Wang was both amused and exasperated. "Your benefactor is right in front of you, it's this little girl!"

Leng Fengmei's lips twitched involuntarily. "Little girl"? I'm the little girl's mother!

Wang Guolong was shocked. It was all the servants' fault for not explaining clearly; they only said that a group of men brought the young master back with a woman.

"Thank you so much! You are a benefactor to our whole family. Please feel free to ask if you need anything, and I will do my best!" Wang Guolong said sincerely.

Leng Fengmei smiled faintly, "Well, if you really want to express your gratitude, could you send someone to get us more cherry blossoms, the more the better!"

“Uncle, I’ll go with her. I have something I’d like to ask Commander Leng for advice!” Wang Xiao said, glancing at the woman.
