As the city lights came on, the banquet began. The men drank and chatted, while the women smiled radiantly.

Cherry blossoms in the grove, intoxicating the senses; fine wine and delicious food, heartfelt conversations!

Perhaps it was to put an end to a worry, perhaps the aroma of the wine was too pleasant, or perhaps it was the overwhelming hospitality that made it impossible to refuse. This woman, who cannot drink a drop of alcohol, tasted the forbidden fruit once again, but thankfully it was only a small taste!

The host is willing, the guest is free to do as they please! Only the empty, swaying branches of the cherry blossom tree seem to be constantly accusing those who pick the flowers.

The woman on the mutated eagle had a slightly flushed face and dreamy eyes as she looked at the man holding her. "Ah Zhan, I'm so happy today!"

The man looked at the little woman in his arms. He, who was usually carefree, was now full of worries. "Amei, what should I do with you!"

Thinking about the way Wang Xiao looked at the young woman, and his seemingly genuine yet fake laughter, Amei was intoxicated, but he remained sober.

"Ah Zhan, we'll be able to leave here soon..." the woman mumbled before falling into a deep sleep.

Jia Renyi waited for a long time before finally seeing the two figures. He quickly went to greet them, "What's wrong, Amei?"

"She's had a little to drink," Zhou Zhan said as he carried the petite woman.

"You know she can't drink, why didn't you keep an eye on her?" Jia Renyi quickly opened the bedroom door.

"She didn't drink much!" he said, carefully placing the woman on the bed, taking off her shoes, socks, and coat, and then covering her with a blanket...

Seeing Zhou Zhan's reluctant expression, Jia Renyi couldn't help but chuckle. "You take care of her tonight, I'm going to the lab!" he said, turning to leave.

"Wait a moment, I have something to tell you," Zhou Zhan said hurriedly. Seeing the little woman suddenly frown slightly, he knew he had disturbed her, so he quickly gestured for Jia Renyi to go outside to talk.

"What did you say? He confessed his feelings right after meeting her!" Jia Renyi's eyes widened in shock. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Is he just lusting after her at first sight? If so, don't worry, Amei doesn't like that kind of person."

Zhou Zhan looked dejected. "I don't think so. He was even saying he wanted Amei to give him a job!"

"Maybe it's a joke!" Jia Renyi said doubtfully.

"Never mind, I won't say anymore. You'll know when he comes to deliver cherry blossoms tomorrow!" Zhou Zhan said before walking towards the bedroom.

The people in the manor watched the group depart on eagles, unable to recover for a long time. Wang Guolong said with emotion, "I had only heard about it before, but I never thought I would see it for myself today!"

Wang Chao looked at his cousin and sighed deeply, thinking that it was a rare occurrence, but it was destined to have no result.

After the hustle and bustle, the lonely feel even more desolate, like the empty branches, as if their hearts have been taken away with the cherry blossoms.

Looking at the silent garden, Wang Xiao felt an unprecedented sorrow, and the smiling face of a woman kept appearing before his eyes.

That clear, melodious voice, "I wish I had met you sooner... I wish I had met you sooner," echoed in my mind like a spell.

Wang Xiao punched the cherry blossom tree, and the few remaining petals drifted down reluctantly!

When he learned all this from his cousin, he also thought about giving up and felt it was impossible! Not to mention she was a mother of two, she already had two men.

But his heart was uncontrollably drawn to her, and seeing the man beside her so attentive to her, he was filled with envy, even jealousy! But reason told him, no!!!

Thinking of the promises the woman made while drunk, he felt he could give it a try.

An untimely ray of morning sunlight streamed through the window. The man, still hungover, had just lazily opened his eyes when he was pulled into a pair of strong arms. Staring at the man in front of him, he was stunned for a moment. "Ah Zhan, what are you doing sleeping here!"

Zhou Zhan almost laughed in anger, "I'm your man, where else would I sleep if not here?"

Leng Fengmei then realized she had said the wrong thing. "Yes, you're right! Let's get up!" she said, and kissed the man on the cheek.

Zhou Zhan looked at the little woman with a teasing expression, "That's not enough!" He then leaned down and kissed her soft lips.

The man at dawn is like a beast about to erupt, all words swallowed up between the mingling of their lips and tongues!

Leng Fengmei extended her divine sense and found that she could not communicate with him. She knew that Zhou Zhan was getting impatient. Just as the two were about to get intimate, there was a knock on the door.

"Knock knock knock!"

His voice sounded a little hurried. Zhou Zhan punched the bed in frustration, thinking to himself that his road to happiness was so bumpy.

Leng Fengmei looked at him with a mixture of heartache and amusement, "A-Zhan!"

Zhou Zhan's hand twitched slightly, and Leng Fengmei checked again with her divine sense and found it was Daniel. "What is it?" she quickly sent him a telepathic message.

“Master, a group of people have come to see you. I couldn’t get in touch with you earlier, so I came here!” Daniel said.

"Got it!" Just after finishing her conversation with Daniel, she saw Zhou Zhan looking at her with a resentful expression.

"Zhan, someone's here!" After saying that, Zhou Zhan looked utterly dejected.

"Alright, we have plenty of time in the future! Come with me!" Perhaps it was one word that pleased the old man, for his gloomy face finally brightened up!

Daniel walked along with a smug smile. Sometimes, it feels good to annoy others when you can't have what you want!

After the two finished washing up, they saw Wang Xiao and his men waiting in the lobby!

"Young Master Wang, you've arrived way too early. Didn't you sleep all night?" Zhou Zhan's displeasure was practically written all over his face.

"Amei, they've brought cherry blossoms," Jia Renyi said, taking the young woman's hand.

Wang Xiao was surprised by their harmonious relationship and felt a mix of emotions. "I really didn't sleep because I was thinking about..." Seeing the two men's cold gazes, he smiled and said, "I was thinking about Commander Leng's instructions. After all, I can't repay the life-saving grace!"
