When Zhang Er and Moses returned, it was just getting light. Zhou Zhan was gathering for morning exercise when he saw Zhang Er and a dark-skinned boy leading a flock of mutated eagles. He was quite surprised, but he knew what he should and shouldn't ask, so he didn't say anything.

Xiao Zhiqiang rushed over upon hearing the commotion. After whispering with Zhang Er for a while, he led his men to unload the items and take them to the laboratory. Since Leng Fengmei left, Jia Renyi had been living and eating in the laboratory. He didn't want to go back; the empty room kept him awake all night! He wanted to numb himself with work.

At that moment, Professor Jia was studying the energy stone sent from Kyoto, trying to maximize its power, when he saw Xiao Zhiqiang leading a group of people in...

"These were brought back to you by my master. He asked you to extract them and keep them for future use," Xiao Zhiqiang said softly as he walked up to Professor Jia.

Jia Renyi was inevitably surprised, because he hadn't expected so much. He knew that the value of this thing was no less than that of an energy stone! He then made a plan in his mind.

Seeing Xiao Zhiqiang busy at work, I said, "Xiao Zhiqiang, come here for a moment, I need your help!"

Xiao Zhiqiang was so frightened that he shuddered. "No, Professor Jia, you can't just do this all by yourself. Besides, I've treated you so well, you should make amends for what you did!" He looked at Jia Renyi with an embarrassed expression.

"Just come over when I tell you to, stop with the nonsense!" Jia Renyi arrived at his temporary rest room and saw Xiao Zhiqiang dawdling in. "Close the door!"

Xiao Zhiqiang was slightly relieved to see that it was just an ordinary rest room. "Professor Jia, please tell me what you need, just don't use me as an experiment." He said with a pleading look on his face.

"Let's see how you perform! Now let's get down to business. This thing is very valuable. Send a few reliable people to guard this place closely!" Jia Renyi said seriously.

Looking at Xiao Zhiqiang, who had recovered completely, she said with a sneer, "Your master really spared you. Even without the essence, you would have recovered slowly in half a month. It's such a waste to give it to you!"

Xiao Zhiqiang touched his face. "Professor Jia, I have something to say, but I don't know if I should!"

"Then let's not talk about it!" Professor Jia glanced at Xiao Zhiqiang with disdain.

Jia Renyi turned around and glared angrily at Xiao Zhiqiang, "You...you're just bored again!"

"Professor Jia, even if you kill me, please let me finish what I have to say. If you truly care about my master, why make things so difficult for her? Throughout history, capable men have always been surrounded by admirers, so why can't women do the same!"

Seeing Professor Jia's face turn as red as a pig's liver, Xiao Zhiqiang spoke with all the sincerity he had ever had, "Don't you know what your master wants? Aren't you afraid that if she stays out there for too long, she'll meet a man who won't restrain her anymore!"

Jia Renyi seemed to be jolted awake by a heavy hammer. "Get out!" he said, but his words lacked any strength.

Xiao Zhiqiang quietly slipped out, clutching his heart and letting out a heavy sigh. "Master, this is all I can do for you. Please don't fall for him again!" Only he knew that his master had truly fallen for Jia Renyi, but how could he allow that?

Everything was new and exciting to Moses, but since they couldn't communicate with him, they could only look at each other with curiosity, especially when Moses occasionally showed off his bright white teeth!

"Moses! Does my master have any last words for me?" Xiao Zhiqiang asked through his divine sense as he saw Moses surrounded by the crowd.

Moses heard the voice of his own kind and quickly turned around, only to see a handsome man. For some reason, he felt a pang of sadness. "My master said to take the dragon with me and to prepare supplies!" he said, his voice lacking its usual sparkle.

"Okay, I understand! You all get some rest, I'll be ready tonight!" Xiao Zhiqiang said, and then arranged for people to speed up the preparations.

Meanwhile, Leng Fengmei was sitting on the Star Chaser, tracking the drone from a distance. She was surprised that this little thing could fly so far. Thinking back to last night, these drones circled her territory several times and left before dawn. Hehe, they were deliberately avoiding people!

Two hours later, Leng Fengmei activated her five senses and scanned the surrounding area with her divine sense. It seemed that the place had suffered from war, with damage caused by explosions everywhere. From time to time, she could see some women and children digging for something in the ruins...

Further on, the city was even more severely damaged, almost completely leveled. The people there were covered up so tightly that their faces were impossible to discern. Their eyes were vacant, and their steps were unsteady, clearly indicating long-term hunger.

Just then, the drone began to accelerate and flew towards a tall building!

"Amos, this time it went so smoothly. I think we'll all receive awards from the organization!" Daniel said, laughing heartily.

"Don't be too happy yet. If we can't pass on the accurate information about this mysterious force that suddenly appeared here, and the organization encounters danger, the two of us will be the ones who suffer the most!" Amos said meaningfully.

“Amos, I’ve discovered you’re even more timid than a mouse. You’re underestimating the strength of our organization!” Daniel said, getting up and taking out his binoculars to look into the distance.

Looking at everything they had destroyed because of the resistance, a smug smile appeared on his face!

Leng Fengmei shrunk the mutated eagle to its normal size from a distance, then ran to the spire of a church to hide. She watched as soldiers dressed in foreign attire, holding long spears, guarded both sides of the building, with some patrolling back and forth from time to time.
