Chapter 86 I Want My People to Be Loyal

Leng Fengmei sat quietly on the sofa. Apart from Daniel's heavy breathing in the room, no one dared to make a sound!

She activated her five senses, and surprisingly, there were no screams around her. Her divine sense slowly swept into the distance, and she watched as about a hundred mutated eagles, led by Yunlai and Yunhu, carried the tiger brothers and their clan, flying towards her at high speed!

Although it was my own arrangement and I had imagined this scenario, I still couldn't help but twitch my lips when I actually saw it, and I almost burst out laughing out loud. This bizarre visual experience!

For some reason, Amos felt a sense of joy as he saw his master's mood suddenly improve.

He finally understood what it meant to be powerless to control one's own destiny!

I felt like crying and laughing at the same time.

But he knew he couldn't resist, or he would go mad! He closed his eyes, exhaled heavily, and when he opened them again, he had truly surrendered!

Leng Fengmei suddenly sensed Amos's change and couldn't help but look up at him, but she only glanced at him and then ignored him!

Amos was shocked. Could it be that she could sense even the slightest change in him?

I dared not harbor even the slightest bit of wishful thinking.

"Master, are you hungry? I'll go make you something to eat?" Amos asked respectfully.

"Good! Make more, and while you're at it, tell the soldiers at the gate to bring the women and children in the cages up. Remember—tell them not to hurt anyone!" Leng Fengmei's eyes were as cold as a winter storm, making Amos's heart skip a beat.

He quickly replied, "Yes, Master!"

“Bradley, you go with him!” Leng Fengmei’s voice was soft, but it made Amos’s heart ache. Was he really so untrustworthy? Yet he also felt that her suspicions were reasonable.

Leng Fengmei was unaware that her contractual abilities were slowly growing, and her methods of controlling people's minds were becoming more and more meticulous!

Soon, terrified screams of women and children could be heard, but they had long been tortured to the point of having no ability to resist, and some of them had even been dragged up!

The soldiers thought their commander had come up with some new way to torture them for his own amusement, and they were all eager to try it out!

However, remembering Amos's stern warning, he was still somewhat wary, so he only pushed and dragged the person without causing any harm.

Leng Fengmei heard the sound of a group of people's footsteps. She had just roughly estimated that there were only about a hundred women and children in total. The room was so big that two rooms would be enough to accommodate them!

“Master, I have arranged three rooms, enough to accommodate all these people,” Amos said humbly, hoping to earn his master’s approval.

"Yes, you did a good job. Let my people outside come in and help you!" Leng Fengmei's voice remained unchanged, but Amos seemed to see a glimmer of hope.

"Yes, Master." Amos bowed and withdrew.

As soon as Basil and his people entered, they prostrated themselves and knelt down, saying, "Thank you, Master, for saving us from our suffering!"

"Get up. What I need is genuine loyalty, not constant bowing." Leng Fengmei calmly sipped her tea, but her five senses remained active, and her divine sense occasionally scanned her surroundings...

Since arriving here, she hasn't dared to relax for a moment. Who are these people? They're no less dangerous than jackals and tigers!

No, they are a hundred times more cunning and vicious than jackals.

In less than half an hour, they had prepared the meal, and Basil and his men distributed the food to the women and children.

Amos then approached carrying a tray. "Master, please have your meal!"

Inside, there was a bowl of porridge, a plate of unidentified vegetables, a few sweet potatoes, and some dark, dried meat.

Leng Fengmei then realized that what they were eating was so meager!

Although she didn't seem to have much of an appetite, she still drank a bowl of porridge and looked at Amos, who was still beside her, and said, "Tell me about your situation!"

"Yes, Master!" Then came Amos's hour-long narration...

Perhaps there's a reason why every bad person turns bad, but bad is bad, and you have to bear the consequences of your evil deeds!

“Master, jackals need to survive, so they have to be more ruthless than others. Is that wrong?” Amos spoke his mind, and he found that his inner thoughts were not suppressed.

“Wolves and tigers hunt other animals to survive, not to torture and kill their own kind indiscriminately like you! How are you any different from mad dogs!” Leng Fengmei looked at this man whose thoughts were more complicated than others—even in submission, he had many ideas.

Amos understood, but when people really reach that point, they are no longer bound by their conscience and will step into the abyss step by step. In endless despair, they develop a perverted mentality and can only get a little satisfaction from seeing others suffer more than themselves!

"Master, Amos is willing to bear the consequences of his evil deeds!" he said, kneeling down. "Please give me a chance to repent!"

"Just do your job well!" The cold voice was devoid of any warmth, and Amos did not receive a clear reply.

"Yes!" He respectfully packed his things and withdrew.

As night deepened, the soldiers on duty suddenly heard a bird's cry and saw countless mutated eagles flapping their huge wings and swooping in from the horizon. They had seen them before, but never so many. They were all terrified, their faces turning ashen, and some even dropped their guns in fright.

Leng Fengmei never expected these people to be so cowardly; when they were torturing people, their laughter was louder and louder than the last!

"Amos, it's time for you to prove your loyalty. Go tell them that this is a divine weapon sent by your organization, and that they should not resist, or they will face the consequences!"

As Leng Fengmei spoke, she closed her eyes, as if she were resting. In fact, she was concentrating her energy and using her divine sense to send a telepathic message to Yun Laiyunqu and the Tiger Brothers to surround these people and not let any of them escape.
