Summary: I was reborn, carrying the strongest swordsman account from the game "God Venerate," but the scenario of easily dominating another world did not happen. After all, what does the ga...
All that could be seen was desolation.
Heaven and earth are like a cage, and the four directions are chaos.
Wu Yu felt as if he were on a meteorite in the universe, and could no longer distinguish between north and south.
The air was a bit thin, but not suffocating, and the gravity was much weaker than in the previous world. However, it didn't have much of an effect on Wu Yu, who was a fifth-order transcendent.
Wu Yu stood in the center of this space and roughly scanned his surroundings. This was an area with a radius of about one kilometer. With just one glance, Wu Yu could confirm that Violet was not here.
Because this land is only covered with rubble, if there is anything special about it, it is the well next to him.
Wu Yu tried looking down into the well, but it was like a black hole, and he couldn't see anything inside.
If it weren't for the ancient key still in his hand, Wu Yu would probably have suspected that he had fallen into Lawson's trap.
"Let's explore this place first," Wu Yu sighed, deciding not to head straight for the desolate area.
Wu Yu carefully checked every corner, but still couldn't find anything special.
But the Apocalypse Society had no reason to play tricks on him. Wu Yu stood there for a long time, gradually focusing his attention on the stones at his feet. These stones were generally large, and there were no small pebbles at all.
"This is a bit strange," Wu Yu said, picking up a stone the size of a baby's fist and examining it closely.
Seeing nothing particularly special about the stone's exterior, Wu Yu began to try to use his mental power to see inside, and this time, he finally made some progress.
The number nineteen suddenly popped into Wu Yu's mind. Then he felt a layer of mental film protecting the inside of the stone, preventing him from prying into it.
Without hesitation, Wu Yu violently destroyed the protective layer. The stone shattered into powder, from which several beams of light emerged.
Without Wu Yu's knowledge, a hundred humanoid creatures appeared around him.
Their appearance is androgynous, lacking male or female gender characteristics, and each of them looks exactly the same.
These were all optical projections, and Wu Yu immediately realized what they were.
Because a figure seemed not to see him at all, and passed directly through his body.
Are these the divine puppets Lawson mentioned? And which one is Violet? Wu Yu tried to find some clues in these hundred illusions, but ultimately found nothing, because they all seemed to have been carved from the same mold.
However, Wu Yu quickly found the divine puppet that resembled Violet, because she was the only one in the entire scene who could make a sound, and the entire scene's perspective was focused on her.
But the lifestyle of these one hundred people was too boring. Apart from Violet occasionally running to the deep well to look out, the others always maintained a cross-legged cultivation state, neither eating nor drinking. They were simply a ruthless cultivation machine.
The footage flashed by quickly, and the dull scenes were not depicted in much detail, but Wu Yu still watched the documentary for half an hour before the scenes finally began to change.
The projection speed returned to normal, and Wu Yu heard other people's voices for the first time, but they were no different from the neutral voice he heard before.
This must have been a momentous occasion for the person who recorded it.
"Number 99, look! I'm different from you guys!" one person suddenly shouted at another.
She pointed to the golden "0" on her forehead, looking quite smug.
"Number 0, hurry up and start cultivating. Stop doing these useless things all day. You were the first one born among us, but now your cultivation is the weakest. This will make Mother Goddess angry." Number 99 seemed to be used to Number 0's madness and earnestly advised him.
"Hmph, a bunch of idiots. Cultivation is not something that can be achieved overnight. Look at those human powerhouses, how many of them became strong by shutting themselves away and reinventing the wheel? Do something more interesting every day!" Number 0 retorted righteously.
"Fine, whatever, I'm going to cultivate now." Seeing that persuasion was ineffective, Number 99 decided not to continue entangled with Number 0 and prepared to leave on his own.
"Number 99, don't leave yet. I need to ask you some questions about cultivation." Number 0 quickly came up with an excuse to keep him there.
"Tell me, what is it?" Number 99 would never refuse such a request.
"That's it..." Number 0 said slowly. Just as his body approached, he suddenly made a move. His palm was wrapped in a layer of dazzling golden light and was directly imprinted on Number 99's forehead.
When Number 99 pushed it away, a mark of "99" appeared on the top of his head.
"Hehe, you've changed too." Number 0 revealed a wicked grin of triumph, and then slipped away before Number 99 could attack her.
In the following scene, Number 0 tricked and deceived everyone else into marking all the other divinely created puppets. Then, she floated in the air and loudly announced...
"From today onwards, you are no longer my copies. You each have your own unique characteristics. You are now mature individuals, and you are fully free to do what you like."
However, No. 0's impassioned speech received no response; the group on the other side continued their silent cultivation.
Suddenly feeling bored, Number 0 floated down from the sky, looking somewhat forlorn. She looked at the well and said longingly, "If only I could go to the human world."
