This thing wasn't so extraordinary that it could survive on its own without relying on the main stem; by this point, it was completely dead.

I pinched it between two fingers; the material was quite tough, and with my current strength, I probably wouldn't be able to tear it apart.

Wu Yu then tried to ignite it with a fireball spell, but still couldn't get it to light.

When the kobolds fell into their lair, they did initially scramble to hunt them, but once a vine pierced through a kobold, the rest of the vines would automatically disperse, and there was no vicious competition among them.

Wu Yu found that feeling again, like when he used to stay up all night exploring games. Actually, as long as he was willing to work hard, he could handle a lot of things.

Wu Yu then took out another cross, put it around the neck of another kobold, and then pushed him off.

The vines attacked him from all directions, but were blocked by an invisible wall of energy as they got close. The vines could only wrap around the wall of energy and tighten their grip.

Wu Yu had been silently counting in his mind. When the tenth second arrived, the vines suddenly tightened, and with a scream, another life was swallowed up.

"Only one and a half points?" Wu Yu looked at the nine crosses he still had in his hand, feeling a little troubled.
