Actually, it's not Wu Yu's fault. He just didn't take it seriously enough. After all, with mobile phone navigation, have you ever heard of a modern person being afraid of getting lost?

"Jerry, someone's looking for you." Wu Yu didn't even notice who called out, but one of the people chatting nearby turned around and asked, "Who is it?"

The boy was tall, standing at nearly 1.7 meters, which made him stand out among the group of boys who were mostly only ten years old. He had a healthy bronze complexion and well-defined features, but still retained a hint of childishness. His sharp brown eyes were carefully scanning his surroundings.

"Here I am!" Wu Yu called out, waving his hand.

"Who are you?" Jerry looked at the newcomer with a puzzled expression, recalling his not-so-long memory, but he really couldn't find anyone who looked like Wu Yu.

“Your mother sent me to pick you up and take you home,” Wu Yu replied happily. Now that the person had been found, Wu Yu considered the mission accomplished.

“I don’t even know you, how could I go with you? Besides, I always go home by myself. You suddenly appearing here, are you up to no good?” Jerry immediately looked at Wu Yu warily after hearing this, and moved closer to his friend.

"Hmm... You're not very old, but you're still quite wary. As a stranger, I don't really have any way to gain your trust. Anyway, my job is just to take you home. You shouldn't mind if I go back with you, right?" Wu Yu hesitated for a moment, then quickly came up with a solution that would benefit both of them.

"Do as you please, but I'm warning you, if you have any bad intentions, don't blame me for not holding back." Jerry couldn't do anything about Wu Yu's shameless behavior, so he could only give him a stern warning and then ignore him.

"Hey kid, not bad. Are you worried about hurting me? It's fine, I don't have any ulterior motives. Your wariness is just a waste." Wu Yu shrugged, indicating that he meant no harm.

"Hmph." Jerry didn't reply, but lowered his voice and discussed a few words with his companion before quickly walking towards the exit.

Wu Yu tried to eavesdrop, but unfortunately, it wasn't a quiet place, and Wu Yu didn't have extraordinary hearing, so it was all in vain. When Jerry passed by, Wu Yu immediately caught up with him to avoid losing him.

As soon as Wu Yu stepped outside, he realized something was wrong: Jerry was walking in the opposite direction from where he had come from.

Did Jerry know the shortcut home, or was he planning to find a secluded spot to beat him up? It was risky, but not unbearable. After considering it, Wu Yu followed Jerry at a leisurely pace, staying close to him no matter how fast or slow he walked or ran.

"Tsk, he really didn't plan to go home!" After following him all the way, Wu Yu confirmed that Jerry really didn't intend to go back to the Hero's Tavern, and when they passed several alleys, he didn't seem to be leading him in.

Wu Yu finally understood why the landlady had casually issued such a task. It seemed this brat was planning to go out and cause trouble. No, he had to keep an eye on him. In this kind of area, at this age, it was easy for something to happen.

"Hey, we've arrived." As Jerry and the others stopped, Wu Yu quickly scanned his surroundings. The area was vast and there was no cover, so it must be the city's open-air square. Moreover, there were many kids of varying ages everywhere.

This place didn't offer the option of a "punk" hairstyle, but looking at those guys' roguish appearance reminded Wu Yu of those petty thugs who hadn't even graduated high school and had already started hanging out in the underworld.
