Summary: I was reborn, carrying the strongest swordsman account from the game "God Venerate," but the scenario of easily dominating another world did not happen. After all, what does the ga...
In the end, Wu Yu was forcibly driven away by the jailers. In their words, they would not let any bad guy go unpunished, nor would they wrong any good person.
When Wu Yu first heard this, he was somewhat disdainful. After all, he believed that Violet had used her privileges to release him. The fact that they could talk about such a shameful thing so grandly made Wu Yu realize just how thick-skinned these prison guards were.
But in the subsequent conversation, Wu Yu realized that he had misunderstood the other party and that he was indeed released without charge.
Since His Majesty the Emperor has already issued the decree stripping Benson of his title, strictly speaking, Benson was no longer a nobleman when he fought Wu Yu. Therefore, the charge of harming a nobleman cannot be established. At most, it would be considered negligent injury during combat, which would be settled with a fine. Violet had just come to pay the fine.
Is this really Jack? He had already planned a way to save himself, and even in death, he made me owe him a favor.
After being expelled from prison, Wu Yu found himself in a relatively remote corner of Green Town. Although he was a little unfamiliar with the area, it wouldn't be difficult to find his way back by asking for directions. However, there was something more important to consider than returning to the manor.
The question is whether or not it's necessary for me to go back?
Now that the chains have been removed, the world is a vast and boundless place where birds can fly freely. As long as you want to go, no one will stop you.
As for the money owed to Jack's family, he can pay it back later. Who says there's only one way to repay money?
Wu Yu was well aware of Jack's dying wish: to protect Violet.
But Wu Yu didn't think he had that ability, because he simply didn't possess the power to protect others. Whether it was last time or this time, he could only watch helplessly as tragedy unfolded before his eyes.
Never mind, let's go say goodbye.
In the end, Wu Yu decided to leave, but he didn't just walk away; he wanted to explain things to Violet.
Back at the manor, Wu Yu discovered that despite several changes in ownership, the composition of the servants remained unchanged.
But Wu Yu ignored all of that and went straight to Violet's room.
Violet remained by her favorite window, having changed out of her morning black evening gown into her usual plain white dress. Except for standing, she was exactly the same as before, but now she could no longer wait for the person she was waiting for.
Violet's mood improved noticeably upon seeing Wu Yu, and she smiled and said, "Welcome back, Mr. Wu Yu."
"Hmm." Wu Yu nodded and got straight to the point, explaining his purpose: "Miss Violet, there's something I'd like to discuss with you."
"Please wait a moment, Mr. Wu Yu, please have a drink of this first." But Violet didn't let Wu Yu finish speaking and interrupted him.
Violet touched the index finger of her left hand, where she was wearing Jack's storage ring. Then, a green potion appeared in her hand, which she handed to Wu Yu.
Wu Yu took the bottle, which was only half full, and asked with a suspicious look, "What is this?"
"Good stuff, drink it quickly, or the medicinal effects will dissipate." Violet teased, then urged.
Wu Yu didn't think Violet would harm him. Even if it was a prank, he could accept it. Out of guilt towards her, Wu Yu poured the slightly bitter potion into his mouth.
The effects of the drug were so immediate that, in just a moment, Wu Yu felt all the fatigue he had accumulated in prison over the past few days vanish. What was even more amazing was that Wu Yu felt his body fat burning rapidly, and his body was emitting a slight heat. His bones and tendons were all evolving at an extremely fast pace. Wu Yu felt as if his entire being was undergoing a transformation.
"Gurgle, gurgle." Wu Yu, who had just eaten a free meal in the prison before leaving, was hungry again. It was probably because all the energy he had stored up in his body had been used to strengthen his body. Fortunately, the hunger did not increase further, so the strengthening should be over.
To transform his body from a sub-healthy state to the point where he felt capable of killing someone with a single punch, Wu Yu could only think of one thing. He anxiously asked, "You didn't give me a magic potion called 'Health,' did you?"
“You’re so clever, Mr. Wu Yu. You guessed it right away. But there’s only half a bottle’s worth. I’ve already drunk the other half. Yesterday, when I was taking the medicine, I realized that only half a bottle’s worth was enough for me to live a normal life. So I thought, rather than giving myself a little useless energy, I might as well give it to Mr. Wu Yu, who needs it more.” Violet confirmed Wu Yu’s guess.
"Why? This is something your brother left you. How can you let me use it?" Wu Yu asked, puzzled. Why were the actions of this brother and sister so unexpected?
“Because my brother told me to treat you the same way I treat him, I will naturally leave what Mr. Wu Yu needs to you,” Violet said matter-of-factly.
"Heh." Wu Yu smiled helplessly, wanting to refute, but couldn't find any words to say.
"So, Mr. Wu Yu, what should we do next? Should we stay at the manor or go to the Royal Magic Academy in the capital?" Violet asked.
Wu Yu's brows furrowed deeper and deeper. He asked, puzzled, "You're a viscount, shouldn't you make the decision yourself in this kind of matter?"
Violet shook her head and said softly, "It's alright, as long as Mr. Wu Yu is happy."
