Having successfully kicked Jerry into the lake without seriously injuring him, and considering the man's speed was so fast that he couldn't react at all, his own survival was not due to luck. Don't act like a wild boy all the time, not knowing any manners at all."

Ignoring Wu Yu's scolding, Jerry said helplessly, "Something terrible has happened! Her Highness the Princess has been kidnapped!"

"Jerry, how did you become so naughty? Are you trying to see me panic? Haha, don't even think about it. Your pranks are too low-level. I'll teach you a few tricks that can fool people." Wu Yu's eyes were full of wisdom as he spoke with an expression that seemed to see through everything.

"Do you think I look like I'm joking?" Jerry was furious when Wu Yu didn't believe him.

Wu Yu blinked twice, looking at Jerry's soaking wet appearance with a trail of water behind him. He felt that it was really unnecessary to go to such lengths for a prank, so he honestly said, "It doesn't look like it."

"You finally believe me!" Jerry urged hurriedly, "Quickly, go save Her Highness the Princess."

"Hey Jerry, have you really lost your mind?" Wu Yu wasn't flustered at all. He looked at him like he was an idiot. "This is the Royal Magic Academy. There are sixth-tier mages everywhere. There's even an eighth-tier epic master living in the mage tower over there. Why don't you go ask them for help and come here to disturb my afternoon nap?"

Wu Yu wasn't worried about this at all. With Phillis's status, if he were in trouble, there would definitely be a bunch of people rushing to rescue him, so there wouldn't be a chance for someone as mediocre as himself.

Jerry hadn't expected Wu Yu to react so calmly, and now he was genuinely anxious. However, he was quick-witted and immediately came up with an excuse.

Most of these statements were made up by Jerry, but even he himself found them plausible.

Even Jerry couldn't be killed instantly, so it shouldn't be too difficult for him to survive. After feeling that his life was no longer in danger, Wu Yu finally relented, "Okay, tell me where it is. I'll go save Phillis first. You hurry up and go to the palace to get reinforcements."

Jerry was pleased to see that he wouldn't have to meet with the Outer Gods Alliance. Now that Wu Yu had agreed to help, he no longer needed to worry about Phillis's safety.

Without further ado, Wu Yu didn't deliberately delay after obtaining the location. He ran all the way and soon arrived at the bridge leading to the pavilion in the center of the lake.

Upon seeing the energy shield enveloping the entire pavilion, Wu Yu's heart sank.

That brat Jerry, why didn't he mention that the other side could deploy an energy shield?

Wu Yu cursed inwardly. Although he didn't know how strong the energy shield was, as long as it was an energy shield, it was definitely not something Wu Yu could break through using conventional methods.
