"But what?" Gu Chengfeng's body stiffened, and his smile froze.

“But we’ve agreed that once you’re cured, we’ll get a divorce.” Chen Sisi said firmly, leaving no room for argument: “Political Commissar Feng, you can be a witness.”

"No, why?" Feng Yanzhou didn't understand. Wouldn't it be a double blessing if the illness were cured? Why would they want a divorce?

Chen Sisi's heart sank. She knew that Gu Chengfeng had a childhood sweetheart with whom he had a very good relationship since childhood. He was sent to Lin County because he got into a fight with someone over that girl.
