Chapter 119 Zombie Siege (12) - Encountering a Trap

They made it through the first two floors without any problems, but as soon as they reached the third floor, they heard a roar and a group of zombies suddenly appeared and rushed towards them.

The moment the zombies appeared, they heard footsteps moving away from another direction. Ning Shu glanced over and saw several people moving away from them.

Someone's here! Ning Shu was overjoyed and became even more enthusiastic about killing zombies. She wanted to catch up with those people as soon as possible and take them away.

After they finished killing the zombies, they chased after the direction from which the footsteps had left, but found no one there.

Ning Shu frowned: "Strange, where did they go?"

Cheng Chuan: "Maybe they're hiding. Let's look around."

As soon as they finished speaking, they heard something tapping on the glass, and the sound lasted for quite a while.

The two exchanged a glance, and their first thought was of zombies.

Ning Shu lowered her voice to a whisper: "Should we go take a look?"

Cheng Chuan nodded: "Go."

Ning Shu immediately shone the light source towards the other end of the steel pipe, but the steel pipe suddenly retracted, and then he heard footsteps leaving.

Ning Shu was somewhat confused when she heard a crisp "click" sound from the other side, which seemed to be the sound of the door lock being opened, followed by a roar.

She instinctively moved the light source toward the sound, and lo and behold, a group of zombies charged toward them.

Because they were too close, using "Sky-Splitting Kill" wouldn't be worthwhile, so Ning Shu directly transformed into a sandstorm and "crushed" them.

What Cheng Chuan saw was a sandstorm, wrapped in a beam of light, spinning continuously, with severed limbs constantly being flung out of the sandstorm.

So this is how he usually uses his talent skill to kill enemies? To be honest, he looks kind of cool.

The two searched in the direction where they had heard the "click" sound and found a locked store called "XX Noodle Shop".

Ning Shu: "Since there's no one here, let's go look somewhere else."

She gestured with her eyes for Cheng Chuan and the others to leave first. Cheng Chuan immediately understood her meaning, and the two of them walked in the direction the man with the steel pipe had left.

It was a passageway connecting to the other half of the mall. After walking through it, Ning Shu realized that the corridor on the left seemed to be behind the store they had just visited.
