Just as the deranged Taoist Master Baige, now a corpse demon, was about to be trapped by Ma Linghua, another strange event occurred. A woman dressed in Miao clothing appeared out of nowhere.

"Hmph, how dare you ruin my plans here!" The woman's voice was clear and sharp, carrying an undeniable authority.

Ma Linghua was slightly startled and turned to look at the unexpected guest. "Who are you?"

The woman's lips curled slightly upward, her eyes revealing contempt. "I am a Miao witch, how dare you act so presumptuously here!"

"Haha, a witch? Someone like you considers herself a witch? You look like you came from some brothel." Ma Hehua laughed loudly, her large knife ravenously ready to strike.

The witch snorted coldly, "Although I don't know what connection you have with this Taoist priest, in his current state, it's clear you can't take him away!"

Ma Linghua's face darkened. "Enough with the nonsense, if you've got the guts, then make your move!" With that, she brandished a dagger and attacked the witch.

The priestess dodged the attack with a swift movement. "Interesting!" she exclaimed. She waved her hands and chanted incantations as mysterious runes appeared around her.

"What kind of witchcraft is this?" Ma Linghua was secretly alarmed, and her attack slowed down.

The witch sneered, "This is an ancient Miao curse, specifically used to punish someone as reckless as you!"

"You little slut! Stop babbling on and on. How dare you talk to my mother like that? Don't you know what's good for you? I bet you just got out of bed with some guy and your brain isn't working properly anymore!!" Ma Hehua roared angrily, her little mouth smacking.

Witch: "………………"

"You... I'm going to tear your mouth apart."

Just as she was about to make a move against Ma Hehua, Ma Linghua cunningly and swiftly pocketed the White Dove Taoist into her bag. Her speed was, to say the least, lightning fast.

"Idiot! Do you think I'd wait for your permission? Are you out of your mind?" Ma Linghua rolled her eyes at the woman fighting with Ma Hehua.

The female ghost in the bag was terrified. This damned woman, couldn't she just change to a different bag? This corpse ghost was staring at her, making her feel scared.

"You bunch of outsiders, not only did you seize my pet, but you also insulted me so rudely. Today I'm going to feed you all to my Gu worms."

The Miao woman released her Gu worms to attack the three members of the Ma family.

In the darkness of the night, the Miao woman's eyes flashed with a resolute and angry light.

She parted her lips slightly, muttering incantations that seemed to come from an ancient call.

In an instant, the bamboo tube in her hand trembled slightly, and an eerie aura spread out.

Several brightly colored Gu worms slowly crawled out of the bamboo tube. They were small in size, but they exuded a chilling aura.

The Gu worms danced in the air with their delicate tentacles, as if sensing the location of the enemy.

Upon seeing this, the three members of the Ma family showed wary expressions.

Ma Hehua gripped her broadsword tightly and shouted, "Witch, stop with the fancy stuff!"

The Miao woman sneered, "Fancy nonsense? Today is your death day!" Before she finished speaking, the Gu worms shot towards the three members of the Ma family like arrows.

The Gu worms were incredibly fast, closing in in the blink of an eye.

Ma Linghua brandished the dagger in her hand, trying to cut off the Gu worm.

However, the worms deftly avoided the blade and quickly crawled up her arm along the sword.

"Ah!" Ma Lihua screamed as the Gu worm writhed on her arm, leaving a black mark.

Ma Hehua was extremely anxious and rushed towards the Miao girl, wanting to subdue her to stop the Gu worms' attack.

The Miao woman nimbly dodged Ma Hehua's attack, while her incantations grew increasingly rapid.

"It's...it's disgusting." Ma Lihua wasn't scared, she was disgusted and cried out, then slapped the Gu worm without mercy.

The worm fell to the ground immediately, its two legs twitching slightly, it was unclear whether it was dead or not.

More Gu worms poured out of the bamboo tube, enveloping the three members of the Ma family like a dark cloud.

Ma Lihua watched this scene in horror, turned around and tried to run away; it was too disgusting.

But the Gu worms wouldn't give her a chance. Several Gu worms quickly caught up with her and tried to climb onto her back.

"There's too much milk, let's use fire!"

"It's no use. This thing isn't afraid of ordinary fire, but smoldering fire is a different story. But our flint and steel can't ignite it!"

Watching her mother wield her broadsword with great force, it was all for naught.

With a wave of his hand, a powerful force dispersed the Gu worms.

“Young lady, one should be forgiving when possible,” Shangguan Wenyan said slowly.

Indeed, he put on quite a show, and his entrance was perfectly timed.

The Miao woman looked at him and said through gritted teeth, "They stole my pet and want me to stop? That's fine, just give my pet back!"

Shangguan Wenyan's tone was icy, "The pet you're talking about, is it the one you used ruthless methods to turn someone who doesn't love you into this grotesque state?"

The Miao woman remained silent for a moment, then slowly put away the bamboo tube. "You're lucky today, but I'll get my revenge sooner or later!" With that, she turned and disappeared into the night.
